Dude, no offense, but until we have a confirmed Avatar source and not fans sitting around speculating, there is no new news here.

We speculate ALL of the time here, that doesn't make it canon.

For my own knowledge can you help me understand this, when they post things on their website about new episodes and that someones mom will be talked about in a later episode is true, but if they confirm zutara won't happen in their podcast from sources that are probably the same they use for the other spoilers, on their website, it's false.

for the most part, they are very reliable

and we have to remember also that Pooldude likes Zutara

yes, but if it was dylan who said it (hes kataang, btw) he could be just pulling it out of thin air. he's the host and reserves the right to say whatever he wants. granted they're reliable on spoilers, but something this big, that could split avatar fandom and ruin arguably the biggest question about the show. its highly unlikely, but only time will tell. unfortunately this "time" seems to be dragging on for far too long.

pff, yea, that's believable he just says it in randomly in a podcast.

I tried to listen to one of their podcasts once, but 3 mins in I wanted to gnaw my ears off.

He also said Zuko and Mai would be over in the first few episodes...so I wouldn't take anything he says as gospel. Though it's pretty obvious that Kataang is the direction the show is taking.

Dylan is a do-or-die Kataang supporter who hates Zuko...it was his constant Kataang-gushing and Zuko-bashing that made me stop listening to the podcasts.

Did they really say Zuko and Mai will die a few episodes, even if they don't end up together it has persisted. So gossip sounds good.

Wait, let me get this straight. There's so called info that Zutara will not happening and the way it has been delivered is sketchy. But, I ask you, why does this even matter? Zutara is a ship started from nothing but a scene in 209 that if twisted a certain way (in a rather domination/submission type of way) seems like subtle flirting. So, I don't see how this pseudo-brand-spankin'-new information changes anything. Zutarians will still be just as crazy for Zutara as they always were. I don't even know how many of them actually felt that their ship would ever be canon and I dont think they care either way.

In addition to that, this pseudo-brand-spankin'-new information does not say whether or not Kataang will ever truly be a reality. Sure there's some soft canon moments but it has still been pretty onesided on Aang's part. However, even if the info of the OP included a confirmation that Kataang would actually emerge in the show still would not affect how Zutarians feel about their ship. It would just mean Kataangers would have bragging rights. Unfortunately, for them, the OP has not provided such info. So, where does leave all the Avatarian shippers? Right back where they were before they saw this thread. It was a nice try, though.

well........ if someone was in the inside, and saw small glimpses of the beach plus Zuko leaving FN at DOBS and the letter from him to Mai; I can see easily that person concluding wrongly that things were officially over for Maizu/Maiko

it doesn't make u want to jam forks into ur eyes? no? Just me, then, I guess. Serisously tho, it's just a bunch of guys bickering with each other, and over analysizing every detail in the show.

DBF guys: "I think the act of Sokka licking the cave in the desert symbolizes a much greater meaning, and represnts the whole avatar world, as if the 4 nations are trying out new things by metaphorically 'licking the cave wall', one can for further delvel in the situtaiton preseented by this act by .... blah, blah, blah "

Me: ".......It was just comedic relief"

The phrase "beating a dead horse" comes to mind, but they have beat that horse, its whole family, and all its close friends to death. It also just seems waay to unprofessional for me, they don't seem to have a concrete script, and they constantly jump from place to place. Also thier podcasts can range from 30 min to 1 and a half hours!! So, you see I would listen to it, but I have better things to waste my time on.

ok, don't get me wrong, I'm not judging thier character, I'm sure they're all good guys and whatnot, but if I were them I wouldn't pursue a career in radio. ;P

the length of it is what put me off, i mean, a podcast lasting an hour and a half? they're on pdocast number thirty-something, that means there's more podcast than there is actual episode.

plus it's over analysis like that that puts schoolkids off reading classics like lord of the flies and of mice and men.
