Does Katara love Aang? The Ending

After seeing the new trailer, wich ship ( you think ) will happen?

    XD perspective Zutarian is hilarious

    I read in many parts that some say that the care and overprotection that has Katara towards Aang is just maternal love, and that is different from the romantic love but ...

    One of the books that I have read "The art of love" said the care, protection, accountability, constant concern for the other person are the main components of love, without love could not well defined

    he defines various types of love, but until the end of the book says that the characteristics of each of their ****fications are universal and are present in all types of love

    Now I wonder is it possible that a 14 year old girl has the need for maternal love to a child of 12 years?

    I think that the death of the mother Deb was a very hard blow in the life of Katara, she did not receive enough maternal love for her mother, so she suffers from a psychological reaction called "substitution", and clearly it is like serving with everyone, but especially with the person closest to her ... Aang

    Katara unknown romantic love, and how she expresses love is the way maternal ...

    because in 2.5 seasons Katara has shown that it cares much Aang, protects him, leave his tribe back to help him in his mission because she is with him in their failures and their moments of depression, for which she risked his life for him in CROD, because she would be able to kill a human being for him in WAT.

    Do these great deeds can not be defined as love?

    Yes, it can be defined at love but could be no more than a familial bond between them.

    IMO there is more to it than a simply being "family" and it is likely that they will end up together, she just needs to separate her maternal feelings from her growing romantic ones.

    Thanks, and yeah that's quite a flaw indeed Maybe she's just thinking it over, because she likes him, he likes her, but there's one problem, she thinks he deserves better. I think she tried to talk about "them" in The Awakening, when she asked Hakoda if they could have some privacy.


    ^^ You're welcome and maybe I guess, but what happened when her dad left? I can't remember.


    Aang asked if she was mad at her dad, and then he felt pain, to wich she replied he needed a healing session. Seems like they got interrupted (again)


    Now I remember, this really does make me wonder.
