I don't mind if they think that "Zutara will happen somehow in the future"

but I find laughable what they saying in this poll

"Katara IS ANGRY AT ZUKO because SHE LOVES HIM" and pretty much saying that he hurting them and most of all Aang in COD has no factor at all on why she was angry

i did that on purpose to see if zutarians would actually vote that

    they did
    Well it worked!

*sarcasm*Nice poll. 37 people put that Katara LOVES Aang that's why she tried protecting him.

Please. Really? *is still sarcastic* OMG!!! KATARA LOVES AANG YOU KNOW WHY!! BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO PROTECT HIM FROM A GUY WHO USED TO WANT TO CAPTURE HIM AND STRUGGLED IN THE PAST WITH GOOD SO HE MIGHT BE EVIL THAT MEANS SHE LOVES HIM!!!! AHHHHHH!!!

People, c'mon. I mean what the ****. Everyone admits Zuko wanted to capture Aang. Sokka, Katara, maybe not Toph because she wasn't there. But they do admit it. Right after Aang tells them that Zhao tried capturing Aang, Zuko came and rescued him, they were in shock, and BOTH KATAR AND SOKKA thought that he just wanted to capture Aang. That doesn't mean Katara LOVES Aang romantically. She didn't act lovey around him in Chapter 12. It was still motherly (or sisterly) love.

"Aang, can we talk about you learning firebending now?"

"WHAT!? I can't hear you! Watch me do this loop." Is that lovey?

There are such things as sarcasm. I imagine some people voted that way for the same reason I've thought about putting up a thread entitled "How Katara's threat is actually love"

Yep, and Jet didn't help her trust issues (although he did become good in the end). Trust is important.

Well I know for sure, I DID NOT VOTE THAT SHE LOVES HIM. Katara is obviously not in love with Zuko yet.

Even if Katara doesn't love Aang romantically, the motherly/sisterly argument is officially null and void now. Which in fact, it hardly ever was that way.

No, when katara referred to aang as a "cute little guy" that argument was completely valid.

how is it void now? she went right back to treating him like a child in WAT. not necessarily a son or brother, but a child.

Up until that point. Even that's not a motherly/sisterly statement. That just showed she didn't see him like that at the time. She never thought of Aang in a romantic way up until that point. And why would it be shown in that same episode where she started thinking about him differently since the idea was placed in her head that Aang was a possibility?

And, um, where did she treat him like a child?

-Why can't I go? Oh right, that line there. That could be seen as any type of interaction. Her stopping him with his staff before that was out of playfulness, just look at her facial expression. (I didn't notice before someone pointed it out, then I looked). She talkied to him in a normal nondescript fashion, and that does not equal treating him like a child, despite that he briefly went back to acting like it in order to run away from his responsibilities of having to learn to firebend.

she basically tells him he can't go play with his friends until his homework's done. like you said, you COULD view it in different ways, but that doesn't nullify the argument that she treats like a child. it's an argument, not a statement of fact, and it's still a perfectly valid interpretation.

Good point. Truthfully, I did see that as a childish interaction, just not in a motherly way because I saw it as childish from Aang's side and not Katara's. And interaction where Katara could have talked to him like a child, because he set it up, but she just talked to him normally. She also said "maybe you should" and not "you better." Aang acted like a child but Katara didn't act like a mother.

I just find it weird they haven't talked about the kiss yet. I SO thought they were going to discuss it when she was like "Aang we have to talk about something" I was like oooh here we go, what's gonna happen. Then sokka and toph were there and i was like 'bleh.'

They shouldn't, it's not realistics plus it just sux to wait.

But of course they will leave it like that until the very last 2 minutes of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and then they'll show whether it's Zutara or Kataang...just to make us crazy...
