It would be stupid if she keeped her mouth closed, but the whole kiss was Aang's initiative. He started, he did it and he finished. She did kiss him back in his daydream, but now everything was different. However, their kiss still proves nothing - she hasn't shown her impressions and ideas 'coz of it in WAT yet. But everythings will be clear soon. |

Obviously she was shocked! We always freee when we are so surprised and don't know what to say or even to think. It was the first time Aang finally opened his feelings, she couldn't even think he loved her that way. The fact that she hadn't understood this before seems strange to me... |

OK, so i happen to be a BIG Zutara fan (please respect this, i respect ur ships), but i do agree the look on katara's face wasn't one of rejectment, more of sadness and anxiety that aang was going of to fight the fire lord. Also it looked like aang just needed to tell Katara his feeeling but didn't want a huge romanctic scene during the battle, think back to when he was so wrorried about missing the invasion in nightmares and daydreams. Since then she was still happy and acted normal around him, good sign for kattaang. However in the two episodes after, the eclipse and the wesstern air temple, they don't discuss it, bad sign for kataang. I guess though they had a bit too much to wrorry about. I am sure by now that Kattanng is the only canon to be, as apparently thier is only nine episode to go, (season 3= last season), i don't that is enough time for true feelings to develop between Katara and Zuko, and i sort of don't want them together if it's just a load of fluff. I think Kataang is likely to happen, BUT, ZUTARA IS FOREVER! Even if Kataang does happen, Zutarins will still support Zutara, we will post more fanfics than ever before, more fanart, complaits, organizations, and no matter what Zutara WILL stay alive in the hearts of all Zutarians. Oh yeh please don't act like we're all potty lunitics, ZUtara was a great idea, even if it isn't canon. Oh yeh and as for the girl perspective, (I'm a girl btw), i'd say the whole hair twiddling, blushing, saying how he was more grown up, was deffinetly signs that she like him. Plus, i won't spoil the western air temple, if you havn't seen it (ask me for spoilers if you want or go see it on youtube or something) but Zuko does ask to join the group and through out the programme Katara shows him the worst cold shoulder, even when he does something very good for them, possibly saving thier lives, and at one point threatens to kill him, if he hurts aang. Ok then bubi.
