After seeing the new trailer, wich ship ( you think ) will happen?

    Yes of course she feels awkward she was expecting a confession not a kiss. Just like in the earth king she was waiting for Aang's confession then too.

    If you look at that second kiss picture (darn you shipping! I never wanted to be this observant!) you can see Katara actually tilted her head forward instead of back and away, or keepin it stationary. I don't buy that she will just kiss him just because she doesn't want him to feel bad, that's one of the lamest arguments I've seen against Kataang. On a more serious and not quite so equal note that's almost like saying you'll go to bed with someone just because you feel bad. Just because they're in the situation they're in doesn't mean she couldn't have ended the kiss. She could have pulled back and told a white lie like "Now is not the time." She could've done anything but she clearly continued kissing him.

    Yeah of course she was clueless about what he was going to say. He didn't say anything not even a confession just a kiss. This is not one of those hollywood kisses where the woman fights at first then melts in his arms. It was a kiss of two young people for the first time. I am glad the writers didn't make it all mushy but more of a realiy kiss. She was clearly not expecting this kiss just the next step in their relationship. I think it would leave anyone clueless and dumbfounded.

    I would say that was because it was her first kiss and she was shocked and suprised (she blinked a dozen times, shut her for a second, and then the kiss was over), and she let it linger, then after it broke you see her glance down with a sad face; (i think, and it does make sence) realising that Aang likes her, but she doesnt like him (this could change)

    Well this is clearly in a state where she was stuck there, on the spot. Like that example, its like she's getting raped.
