Im amused to see this topic still going on. Everyone, the latter just has his opinions on Katara and Zuko, nothing more. Let us all continue with our daily lives and this topic be ceased, so a new(and hopefully good) topic may arise.

That's not why, but you're right about how this was was the way it was always meant to be. Zuko and Mai were not forced together, nor were Katara and Aang.

Hey, you opened the topic for discussion. If you wanted a one sided conversation about how Zutara should have happened, then you should have said "Zutara shippers only!" So all of us Kataangers have every right to voice our oppinions here until you decide to do that.

Right now, this whole thread's kinda a joke. If you want people to take you seriously and have a nice, fun little shipping debate, get a different icon, and make better arguments.

Chuckled at the astrology reference. I don't think you'll really be able to convince anyone that Zutara was 'meant' to happen. Throughout the entire show I thought it was pretty clear that Kataang was going to happen. If anything I was just surprised at how far they went with it (that was some some kiss). You could argue that the merits of their (Katara and Zuko) respective personalities might have made for a more exciting, a better, even a more realistic relationship. But the interpersonal dynamics were never there, and I don't really think that's debatable. Sure, you could argue that their absence was the fault of the creators, which I think is kind of ironic, considering they created the characters you feel so strongly about, but you can't deny the fact that there really was no chemistry (I define chemistry in an interpersonal sense as how two people react to and around each other). I'm not saying you're wrong. Full disclosure, I would have loved to see Zutara happen myself. But my point is you can't really make a successful argument pinpointing its foundation in the show. The Kataangers can. That doesn't make Kataang 'better'. No one begrudges your opinion, but answer this question honestly: did you really think Zutara was going to happen (not wanted to happen) going into the finale?
