i think katara and aang's relationship is similar to a mother's to their child. Maybe aang just likes katara because... uh.. she does, and she cares about him and stuff? lol something like that. i dont think katara would go out with him though, sadly. maybe she would with like.. jet or zuko or someone else a little older than aang (maybe not zuko.. i dont even get why people pair them up anyway.)
doesnt aang like toph? i saw some episode,??where they were like in a swamp or something, and sakka thought he saw the moon princess girl, katara thought she saw her mom (or dad? i forget), and aang thought he saw some girl who kinda looked like toph to me, though her identity was kinda hidden. then wouldnt it mean it was someone they cared about? or idk.

True, but the crators also said it WASN'T a "cave of Two Lovers" thing, and that it wasn't romantic. They're probably going to try and beat the crap out of each other, realize that they are being stupid, sit at oppositte corners of the cave for a while, realize they need to work together to get out, draw a truce, make it out, and have a newfound respect for each, but no more, no less. SO HA ZUTARIANS HA!

It means she's someone he'll have some sort of close relationship with, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll like her, besides they've shown no signs of liking each other and Aang did get jealous in the last episode with Jet and Katara.

Thanks much.. that was cute.. I personally don't "ship" anyone but I love to watch the battles rage on about it.?? The one thing I have yet to ever see noted is that out of all the females on the show, there seems to be only one with the power, control, discipline and lineage to ever be called Mrs Avatar ... and with that said, I will give it away, Toph. ( ducking now because I made a ship comment - exiting stage right ~~~~~~> )
