I'm split, but for me, everyone's annoying. It just depends what side of that person you're looking at at that moment.

I won't lie, Katara does come off as a Canon Sue at times but her uniqueness if what MAKES her interesting. If you strip a character of those qualities, you get a pretty boring story.

I also find Zuko dreadfully annoying at times. The pretty boy with a tragic scar, only been done a million times. Emanates so much angst I think I???m going to drown.

I find Sokka???s tactfulness irritating. He was raised in a cultureless land of ice where the most stimulating thing to do doing mundane household chores. It???s like a back of the woods kid becoming a literary genius in a week???s time.

And don???t get me started on Aang.

Call me the weird one but I find none of the characters annoying. I like all the characters for who they are and find them very realist(minus the bending lol). The amazing animation may of got me to first watch the show but the deep characters got me hooked. I just appreciate that none of the characters are one-sided.

With all due respect, I find her annoying. Yes she???s a good person, I understand that but in my view, some traits that she has???.eh.. I just can???t stand. No offense to anyone who thinks differently.

I don't like Katara. She's rather boring in my opinion. Aang is hyper, Sokka's entertaining, Zuko's angsty, Iroh's cool, Katara isn't really anything. She's a great bender sure, but I think it's totally unrealistic how fast they improved her bending. Maybe it's just her feminist attitude.

Also, I completely agree on how less annoying than Kagome Katara is.

I don't find her that annoying. Every show needs a responsible (aka boring) character to balance out the comic and the reckless. I also love waterbending and my favorite fight of the show so far is Katara vs. Zuko -- my heart was literally pounding since I really didn't know who should or would win.

I think Katara simply has her moments, because of the age she's in and yeah she can be pretty inconsistently rude sometimes, but the episodes about her are still cool episodes and not boring. No matter if someone has a bone to pick with Katara or not , those episodes (in terms of story, and characterization) are always good.
