It seems to me that many people have trouble letting go. As far as endings go, I really enjoyed this one. Yes there will be a mini-series to answer the remaining questions, but the series itself finished beautifully.

You have NO IDEA. It is extremely hard to let go, but it's also hard because in all honestly, you don't want to let go at all.

it's not just hard, it's impossible

    QFT!

I like how you used a line that Katara said.

Damn right it went out big. There was NEVER a fight that lasted as long as Ozai vs. Aang during the whole show. Most fights aren't even 4 minutes long in total. The Aang/Sozin one was atleast 10 minutes. The bending was ratched up a couple notches, the animation was beyond excellent. You can even tell how much more effort got put into the finale because the length of one continual shot went up.

That's how you close out a great series. Can't help but leave the fans wanting more.

Oh yea, and I offically shut down Nickelodeon. (except Nicktoons. They actually play Avatar a lot.) I'm just hoping that Nick loses viewers and realizes that those veiwers were the Avatards. Stupid channel. Stupid not advertising. Stupid Nick for not loving Avatar.

i kind of agree with you. it went out with a little bang, b it definitly could have been a huger bang with the closing of all the loose ends that are around. and another surprise that the creators of ATLA are so good at making. i still can't really believe that the show is over, i feel like there has to be more. hmm who knows

Bryke knows. That's why I'm holding out hope until Friday. Though I expect to be disappointed as the only thing they'll say is that minisodes will air next year and the majority will be talking about the movie, I think. I'd easily give up the 3 movie if we could have 3 new seasons Ah, well. Hopefully it won't be as bad as I think it is.

The entire time I watched the finale, it didn't hit me that THIS was it, that it was actually over, until I saw Aang in the same robes as Monk Giatso. I guess that's why the moment is pretty powerful for me, because it signifies the end.

Btw, rewatching the entire series in a period of 2 days was NOT the smartest thing for me to do to get rid of this AWS
