    Ha-chi is the sound you make when you sneeze in German, lul.

    And Iroh's name, Mooshi, means pu$$y. I believe it's spelled Muschi in German, though.

    mushi is like traditional chinese for living corpse or something liek that, because when he thought of the name he looked dead.

    Well, one was, you said Tosa=father. It's Tosan. You forgot the n. That was one mistake, but I don't really want to critisize your Japanese. Anyway, you've got the right idea for most of them.

    But anyways, I've watched full episodes in German and it's always fun. I watched Jet and understood, like, the whole thing. Yay.

    I'd love to see them in japanese.

    aww, i was close, to be fair my source was hiro saying 'tosan?' on two occasions. seriously though, i want to learn, what were the other mistakes? (i added a couple more to my list after remembering what i learned from avatar)

    on a side note, when looking at the credits for pokemon pearl, i noticed about 7 'hiro's, (well they were 'hiroku' or 'hirota' or something like that but still)is hiro like 'joe' or 'john' in japanese? (and for any of you interested i did see hiroku nakamura in the credits, kewl huh?)

    on another side note, starreh mentioned what mushi meant in german, 'toph' means 'drum' in hebrew. (not as funny but still interesting no?)

    Watch Jet in French, Jet's voice sounds like a 30 year old XD Unless French people just sound older, I wouldn't know. I don't know any French people... or any French

    The question should be why can you speak japanese?
    1. Your from japan
    2. Your family is from japan and your azn.
    3. You took classes,live their for sometime, or learn the language for some other purely business reason.
    4. Your a weeaboo.

    So I was at that German avatar site, and I found it somewhat amusing to see how they changed some of the names of episodes.

    Most were kept the same like The guru (der guru) The boy in the iceberg (Der Junge im Eisberg) The Earth King (Der Erdk??nig) ect.

    But like Appa's Lost Days is changed to "Poor Appa", Jet is made into "Jet, the rebel" Imprisoned is "In Captivity!" The Waterbending scroll is just "The scroll".

    But what made most me happy was lufttemple. (air temple) cause luft is like the best word ever.

    I'll contribute some Weeabooo-ism I picked up in High School from the Otakus.

    Hachi = 8

    Roku = 6

    Right? I think.

    As a Japanese major I can't resist the urge to tell you the that sentance means "I converse in Japanese." If you want to say "I can speakJapanese" it would be "Boku wa nihongo o dekimasu." (Admittedly I joined just to tell you that but I have been lurking here a while now and look forward to contributing.)

    Regarding the subject at hand, I think it would be cool if I could see Avatar in Japan in Japanese. I'm in Japan now as an exchange student and the only way I can watch Avatar is online.

    And to make references to other post, I watched that episode of Avatar in German and was greatly amused by it. I went to find episodes in French too. I'm glad I know French, too, because I ended up finally watching andepisode I had missed in the second season.

    German not so much. I've never really studied it so I only watched that clip out of curiosity. I understood single words and recognized some grammar.

    But yes, English (native language; American), French (I was in an immersion program in elementary and middle school), and Japanese (I began studying it because I was bored with French when I got to high school and the other romance languages (Spanish, Portugese, Italian) seemed to similar to me.)
