ZUKO is for sure gonna be with the gang at some point probably helping them! I saw the picture! This whole??bit about Zuko changing his destiny and the finale title have thoroughly convinced me that he was the one whom I saw in a picture with Sokka in a fire nation cave and will be therefore guiding them all.

    sweeet

but MAY!!!???? thats FOREVER! sheesh the next avatar is gonna be born and died by then! lol

what the freak? what picture? links please (haha, probably fake)

She can't, she saw it live. Yes, she saw the creators personly. *mubles underbreath*

    [spoilers]

um I've heard from numerous sorces that the creators stated at the PMX event that everyone will get new clothes and hairstyles for season 3, this got me to thinking whether or not they would give Aang hair. At first I thought "No No, thats part of his character they can't give him hair". Then I realized they are going to be in the Fire Nation for most of the 3rd season which means more than likely Aang will in fact have to grow hair and cover his tattoos if he doesn't want to be noticed. Anyone else think this???

Interesting.....of course, he wouldn't be Aang w/o a bald, shiny head (w/the blue arrow on it as well). Maybe he could just wear his hat all around town. He probably would have to change his clothes--i mean, people could recognize him by his clothes--so on that note, maybe your idea is correct. Only time will tell.

    New hairstyles, eh?

    - Aang w/ hair?
    - Katara without the loopies? (possibly have her hair down all the time which would drive the guys crazy like always )
    - Sokka with longer hair and no more ponytail? - Toph with an afro hair like Beyonce Knowles (like we saw on Tales of Ba Sing Se)
    - Zuko with an afro? (that would be funny)
    - Iroh shaves?
    - Azula, Mai, and Ty-Lee with shorter hair?

...yeah, that would be my prediction. But I probably wouldn't see much of that happening.

Hmmm...my prediction for the "longest wait yet" has been confirmed.

Episode 3.1 won't even be done until April, and that's the earliest the new season can start. Obviously you can't air an episode before it completes production.

So like I've said before folks...late April/early May is like the most likely possibility. Looks like the s3 premiere will be pretty darn good, as production will take a year by the end!

Consider all that an episode goes through during production...first there's writing, storyboarding, animation, music has to be added in and synched by a different studio, the voices have to be recorded, those have to be synched by another studio as well...it's an endless process which usually results in great episodes of Avatar!

You certainly shouldn't blame the staff for the wait. *coughblameNickcough* In order to keep the quality of the show, they need ample time to go through each of the processes. Quality shows take time to create. Rest assured our good friends in the Nicktoons studio and over at DR Movie and JM in Korea are working their off to get season 3 ready for us as soon as possible without dropping the quality!

    Blame Nick? Sure thing!

??And if you all have a hard time waiting for Avatar I have a few shows/animes/books that can help in the meantime.

Shoot, make us wait longer and have several episodes ready ahead of time. The only thing worse than waiting 30 weeks for an episode is waiting 15 weeks for a bad episode with nothing to follow it.

Thanks for the information Pd (yep spelled it all out and am thanking someone). Overall I take stuff like this in stride, we all saw it coming, I'm pretty aware of the process that goes into making each episode and animation in general, and like ya said, they must be working on something big if its taking this long. Long as its not another Secret of the Fire Nation. Did not particularly care for those episodes (well at least they looked nice though). ...Yeah. Plus, either way, no matter how patient or impatient any of us are, yeah uh, its still gonna come at the same time. Comon do we really have to play the blame game with Nick for everything? Huh, "blame game" yeah people still talk like that.

At least its not a freakin' 8 month like 24 goes through. Boy thats been brutal these past 2 seasons. It's nice come January 'cause there's no reruns at all thru the finale, but from June-mid-Jan. it's brutal. 24 is flat-out the greatest show on television, period. The writing is far superior to any other show. Writing on Avatar is good, but 24 brings it to another level. Should I say Avatar's writing is far superior for an animated show, and 24's writing is far superior for a live-action show. Anyway...

Well, you may find this funny, but it actually is the network's fault why. I won't go into details, but this time it is actually Nickelodeon's fault and not just something bad happens and we blame it on them with nothing to back it up. This is 100% their fault.

In all fairness, Nick has brought us some great cartoons and show, like Avatar, DP, Zim, Wild Thornberrys, Rocko, Spongebob, Pete & Pete, Angry Beavers, so they are doing some things right. But they do many things wrong too...oh man those members back in summer of '05 know I had a field day ripping Nickelodeon and some of their business practices...

See, that's exactly what I was waiting for. We can actually pin the tail on the ass this time (no really I meant donkey). But uh, if you wanna be all technical about it, it was kinda the the creators of those shows that brought them to us, they just happened to have pitched it to Nick (usually after gettin snubbed by Cartoon Network as in Butch Hartman case). But anyway, either way, yeah we've had some good stuff. Huh, Danny Phantom, episode ten, season 2, Chokey Chicken, FCC, Chewey. M'kay.

Do you have some kind of Why Should I Watch 24? rant I can look at? I'd like someone to tell me if it's worth checking out. It certainly SOUNDS ambitious.

Ahh, Rocko's Modern Life. I should buy that on DVD.

Well, the wait will be long... at least, I will have my friends watch the dubbed version here and compare opinions, since the second half of the second book will be airing here by then. Also, I don't think I will be able to watch the episodes until May, thanks to the beauties of studying Medicine.
    And...

I know. The Spongebob best day ever is just... AAAAAHHHHH!!!
Why do they feel the need to show 24 hours of Spongebob that lead up to a new ep of it and the movie? When I think about this, I think: "all this for a new ep and the movie?! That's stupid!!!" Oh well, it doesn't matter. Although the wait on new epis is really starting to annoy me.
