Can the Avatar be evil? (Nothing to do with Dark Avatar)

    exactly, this is what im trying to say all along... dont forget that the avatar is ''just a human'' which makes him sensitive to the way he will be raised though. the FN COULD tell him, and even learn him, that the world would be a better place if everyone and everything would be controlled by the FN.
    if they will teach him that, there will be a big chance that he'll believe it and help them. its up to the previous avatars (mainly avatar Roku) to fix it, and teach him his REAL job (which is balancing the world).

    i think it is the Avatar's choice to be evil or good. he can control that up to a point...just like when Appa was stolen.

    Supposedly, the avatar cannot be evil because some spirits in the real world keep him/her in check. i.e. Wan Shi Tong, Habai (sp?)

    There's a shortage on locked threads. In my mind, there's six pages of locked, pointless threads including the shipping ones, the eliminations, the shipping eliminations, the "is suco joning the gagn" threads, the "___ character isn't dead/is he dead/kill this character" threads, the "Dark Avatar: Lame Idea, Take 27" threads, and my personal favorite the "how do I get to level 2" posts.

    there can only be one avatar at one time. just because they're twins doesn't mean they share everything. in "The Fortuneteller" there were identical twins and only one was a bender

    If there were two Avatars, they would both be on the same mission, whatever it was. And both ways it would be a NEUTRAL mission pushing NEUTRALITY.

    DOES BALANCE mean NOTHING to you?

    Well, the thing is when Aang is in the spirit world, Roku and Kyoshi and all the others are all in seperate form, and all seem to have different personalities. I think whilst they all have the earth's spirit in them, they are actual people, with different desires, and some might seek for personal gain rather than helping others.

    if the avatar started going bad, one of the other avatars would talk to him in a vision or something and would (try to?) set things right.

    i agree cause the fire nation do think of themselves as good and think of the avatar evil but they also probably think everything besides fire nation is evil so yea it could go either way
