Book 5: Shadow?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Chapter 9: The Meeting of Two Friends

The golden sun rose over the sleeping city of Ba Sing Se that morning. Merchants were preparing their goods for the coming busy day; farmers picked their crops to send into the city, and the day shift guards heading to their posts. Zuko stood outside looking into the warm morning sky. Haru walked out from the palace and approached the troubled Zuko.

???I see you???re uneasy about the meeting,??? said Haru.

???You know some of the looks I get from some of these people, at least half of them think that I am going to attempt to dominate the other nations like my father, grandfather, and great grandfather??? replied Zuko.

Haru sighed and said ???You know I went through the same thing as you, having to be a ruler at a young age, not really knowing what to do, the people were worried about me but they came around??? encouraged Haru.

???Its not the same, at least people did not have to worry about you going senile and attempting to conquer the other nations!??? yelled Zuko.

???Your different then them Zuko and you know that, when your father used Sozin???s mask and used the entire power of the comet on himself, well that beast he became it just showed what he truly was, but you, your different??? said Haru.

???Ya well to bad others don???t see it as the way you say it is??? stated Zuko.

???Well im sure they will give you a chance in time, but at least that cursed mask is gone I had nightmares about that giant winged demon like thing??? laughed Haru.

???Right??? said Zuko as he looked guilty of something.

Haru stared at Zuko for a moment before saying ???You still have it don???t you, do you know what would happen if this got out!??? yelled Haru.

???Look it???s a relic among my people, and what if something was to ever happen,??? said Zuko as he was cut short by Haru.

???If you what, used it??? said Haru.

???It???s put away safely,??? said Zuko.

???I stood up for you and now you pull this!??? yelled Haru as he pointed his finger at Zuko.

???Its part of the heritage of my people, how would you like it if I said you had to destroy your earth hat??? said Zuko.

???I have like five so it???s not a big deal. Now listen I trust you so I wont tell any one about this, but you better have that thing kept away Zuko,??? said Haru as he walked back into the palace.

Zuko turned around and began to look into the sky as he noticed a group of bison???s heading towards the palace.

??

Aang and Appa were ahead of the herd of flying bison as the group of Air Nomads headed towards the palace. The group of several bisons landed near the front gates. Aang jumped down atop Appa and landed softly on the ground. He looked around noticing all the important people of the world greeting each other and heading into the enormous palace. He noticed a small cart heading towards the gates. Hoping it was Katara he went down to see her. Aang???s hopes were quickly shot down when he saw Katara laughing and talking with Ruan. He stepped back as he held his head low in disappointment.

???I guess this is it,??? said Ruan.

???Well im sure I will see you again,??? replied Katara.

???Hope so??? said Ruan as he smirked and jumped off the small wagon. He then headed off into the hustle and bustle of the city not looking back.

???Aang!??? said Katara as she noticed the sulking man.

???Oh Katara I didn???t see you there??? lied Aang.

???Hey you know Aang last time when we tried to catch up we got kind of interupted so, you maybe want to go get some lunch? It???s still a couple hours before I have to be in the palace,??? asked Katara.

???Sure??? replied Aang as he barely gave Katara any time to finish speaking.

???Well lets get going then, I know a good restaurant not far from here,??? said Katara.

Aang helped Katara get down from her seat and the two began to walk into the city.

??

Sokka happily walked down the halls of the palace as he was looking for Liuli. That???s when he noticed a group of Kyoshi warriors heading his way.

???Oh no, Suki??? Sokka muttered to himself as he looked down the hall to the left of him.

He made a quick right when he noticed Liuli heading towards him as well.

???Not good??? he muttered to himself again. Sokka attempted to try to find some place to quickly hide account he didn???t want the girl he had an on again off again relationship with, and the new girl in his life to run into each other. Suki and a few other Kyoshi warriors walked by as did Liuli. Sokka poked his head from around one of the decorated pillars and breathed a sigh of relief.

Aang and Katara sat at their small table in the restaurant staying pretty quite.

???Well maybe this wasn???t the best idea,??? said Katara as she looked around at everyone in the restaurant staring at the two. The two???s silence was broken when they heard a women across the room pointing out the window and screaming.

???Wow what is it???? asked Aang.

???The train look how fast it???s going,??? replied the lady. Katara and Aang rushed out the door to see a speeding train rush towards the palace.

???Aang we have to do something??? said Katara.

Aang just stared at the train.

???Aang are you listening!??? yelled Katara, as she looked at Aang whose eyes and arrow tattoo glowed a bright white light.

Chapter 10: Runaway Locomotive?????????????????????????????????? Coming??this Sunday

Book 5: Shadow????????????????????????????????????????????Chapter 10:??Runaway Locomotive

The train was speeding towards the palace and it needed to be stopped. Aang activated his avatar state and began to focus on the speeding train. Katara backed up away from the powerful avatar as he used a large gust of wind to launch himself into the sky and onto the tracks. Katara stood in front of the restaurant as she watched Aang fly through the sky. He landed atop the train???s railway, which stood over the hustle and bustle of the city. It headed towards Aang at top speed as he just stood there not flinching. His eyes and tattoo still glowing bright.

???Hey is that a guy out there???? said one of the Renegade soldiers who were standing in cockpit of the train.

???Who cares, he wont be there much longer,??? replied the other soldier. Outside the train Aang moved his arms sending a shot of wind from his hand, which then turned more into a fury of wind so powerful it began to slow the speeding train. The train slowly approached him, its windows shattered. The train came to a halt and Aang jumped in through the front window. Dai Li, and Ozai???s former followers were groaning as they got up from the ground brushing the glass from their cloths off. Aang stood at the front of the train as he looked at the soldiers and the large bomb sitting at the back of the train. For a moment the soldiers stared at Aang as he stared at them.

???Ok can we just do this easily, sure you guys can try to attack me but all just end up beating you all badly. So why don???t you guys just back down now???? asked Aang with a small smirk.

The soldiers looked at each other for a moment before all trying to attack Aang at once. Several men attempted to all jump him at once but they were no match. Aang bounced them back with a wave of flames knocking them on their backs. They got up and looked around before they began to panic for some reason as they scurried out the train???s side???s doors and ran down the track.

???Finally someone has the right idea,??? Aang muttered to himself. What he didn???t realize however is that when he sent a wave of fire from himself he had accidentally lit the fuse to the bomb. He had no time to react as the small flame moved up the fuse and into the bomb. It quickly exploded turning the train and part of the railway into scrap. Aang used an old fire bending trick in which he used a wall of fire to protect himself from the damage of the explosion. He plummeted down with debris of railway, as he was about to land face first into the ground when Appa grabbed him. Aang looked up to see Katara bright smile atop Appa???s sattle.

???Aang what just happened???? asked Katara.

???Renegade soldiers were taking a bomb somewhere now head for the train coming from the south, I think something is going down today and they have another one!??? yelled Aang from down below where Appa was holding him.

Appa turned around and headed for the next train.

??

Sokka was strolling down the halls of the palace hallways when a bunch of soldiers ran by bumping into him.

???Wow watch where you???re going??? said Sokka as he rubbed his shoulder. One of the men came to a halt and said

???My apologizes General Sokka, but there is an incident at the front gates and it needs the royal guards attention???. He then began to run after the other guards to catch up.

???Hold on i'm coming!??? yelled Sokka. He emerged out the palace doors when he saw a about a hundred renegade soldiers fighting earth kingdom soldiers.

???How did they get in here isn???t this place protected???? asked Sokka.

???They had to have come from the catacombs it???s the only entrance which in not protected, Long Feng must have told them about it??? replied the soldier.

???Well let???s worry about that later, right now we have to go help those troops,??? said Sokka.

???They have a trebuchet!??? yelled some one fighting in the battle in the battle.

???What!??? yelled Sokka back, but it was too late. A huge hunk of some sort of substance on fire flew through the air crashing near the palace, sending Sokka and the soldiers near him to the ground. His hears rang from the explosion as he pulled himself up and heard the faint voices of the other men yelling

???Where???s the general???

???I think we lost him,??? yelled the other.

???I???m not done yet,??? muttered Sokka. He pulled his sword from its scabbard placed at his side. He ran through the black smoke where the object hit and charged into battle.

??

Zuko was heading back to his room unaware of what was happening outside. He opened the door to his room when he found Long Feng sitting in a chair waiting for him.

???You!??? said Zuko, as he instantly got into a fire-bending stance.

???I would stop right there Fire Lord, unless you want her to get hurt??? snickered Long Feng. Two Renegade soldiers came out from behind the door dragging Jin with them.

???Zuko help!??? pleaded Jin

???Your going to regret this??? said Zuko as he laid his hands down.

???Ah so the mighty Zuko does indeed have a weak spot. You know your sister may have been a manipulative back stabber but at least she was a strong leader,??? said Long Feng, who was trying to tick the all ready angry Fire Lord off.

???What do you want then???? asked Zuko.

???The fire nations allegiance??? replied Long Feng.

???What are you crazy I will no give my army to you??? quickly said Zuko.

Long Feng nodded at the two men holding Jin. One pulled a small knife from his pocket and raised it upwards towards the scared Jin as she began to cry in fear.

???Leave her!??? yelled Zuko.

???Then you know what you needs to be done. Resign the fire nations alliance to the other nations and join the Renegade group,??? said Long Feng.

???Fine now let her go,??? stated an angry Zuko.

???Now that???s where the problem is lad, see I don???t trust you and im sure you don???t trust me. So the girl comes with me until I have confirmation about the fire nations resignation??? said Long Feng as he stood up from his chair.

???Then the deals off!??? yelled Zuko.

???Quite the temper you have there, but I am truly sorry. I hope you make the right decision,??? said Long Feng as him and his men walked out the door. One soldier through Jin over his shoulder as the other used earth bending to open a hole leading into the catacombs.

???Zuko!??? yelled Jin as two soldiers jumped in.

???Hold on Jin all get you back!??? yelled Zuko.

???Oh and Fire lord Zuko, don???t try to pull a fast one on me, I have eyes everywhere??? laughed Long Feng as exited through the hole which then closed behind them.

Zuko smashed the wall with a friary fist in anger.

??

The southern train was closing in on the middle ring when Appa got near. Aang had crawled up Appa???s fur and was now atop Appa???s sattle.

???Katara here keep Appa steady,??? said Aang. He passed the two ropes over to Katara. Appa flew overhead the speeding train. Aang stepped over the ledge of Appa???s sattle getting ready to dive atop the train.

???Aang, be careful??? said a worried Katara.

Aang nodded at her and jumped from atop Appa as the fly bison flew off.

He landed face first slamming into the roof of the train and making a large clunk.

???Ow??? groaned Aang

He grabbed onto a small emergency hatch in the roof with his right hand as he hung on for dear life as they train sped towards the palace. Aang grabbed on with his other hand and pulled himself towards the small hatch atop the train. He tried to pull the hatch open but it was useless. Aang began to crawl backwards to the middle if the train. Placing his two hands on the thin metal he began to heat the metal up. At first it simply got hot but as Aang tried harder it turned color to a bright orange. He focused harder at melting the roof, it now getting goopy and softer until the roof caved through. Aang jumped through the still hot hole and landed inside the train. He looked around the train, no one. He began to walk to the back of the train, ready to make a move at any time. As Aang moved on to the next cart he began to hear a rustling above him, like gears moving. He looked up to see a metal box wide open hanging above him. It quickly fell down trapping Aang with in it completely enclosing him. Zhuang and a group of renegade soldiers opened the door to the cart Aang was in.

???Well men it looks we have quite the catch here??? laughed Zhuang as he knocked on the metal box which showed no opening.

???Let me out of here!??? yelled Aang as he pounded on the metal box.

???Oh your not going any where, no earth air or water will work in there??? said Zhuang.

???Ya well I still have flames, if you forgot??? said Aang as he created two large fireballs in each of his hands.

???I wouldn???t do that Avatar, or else it might get very hot in there for you??? said Zhuang.

Aang closed his fists as the flames disappeared making the small cell cover with darkness once again.

???Listen there are better ways of doing this??? pleaded Aang as he sat in the metal box.

???Well we tried to reason but they just would not listen. So now we must take action and return the world back to the way it should be??? said Zhuang.

???The nations are the way they should be, as one,??? stated Aang.

???And that makes each nation weak, now I don???t have time to argue with you. Speaking to you was nice I hope you enjoyed it because it will be the last time you will be getting the chance to talk,??? laughed Zhuang.

Two soldiers rolled one of the bombs up to the front of the train and placed it right in front of Aang???s cell. He began to pound on the inside of the cell harder and harder until he simply stopped.

???Ha he must have finally given up, now light the bomb and let???s get out,??? commanded Zhuang as he looked on at the bomb and metal box.

The men holding the bomb simply stared at Zhuang their faces petrified.

???What are you waiting for were going to be at the palace soon light it!??? yelled Zhuang. His face to soon turned scared when he felt breathing against the back of his neck. Zhuang turned around and was face to face with the figure draped in black air nomad cloths similar to Aangs and a black face with only a shape but no mouth or eyes. Zhuang and the soldiers were speechless as they looked on at him.

??

Sokka ducked under a Renegade soldiers axe as he swung it widely trying to hit him Sokka jumped up at the chance quickly as the Renegade left his face wide open. Sokka used the knob of his sword to hit the soldier in the face knocking him unconscious and leaving a big red mark in the middle of his head. Sokka breathed heavily as he looked down on the unconscious man. The Renegade???s were getting the upper hand now account of they just kept swarming out of the catacombs like there was no end, but the battle was about to turn. In the distance a cloud of dust appeared. It kept getting larger as it got closer until a man riding the rock towards the battle could be seen.

???It???s General Fong!??? cheered a soldier.

???The battle is won!??? yelled another.

Fong jumped of the pile of earth and landed on the ground. He hit the ground with his feet a few times sending waves through the ground knocking the entire Renegade army to there feet. Looking towards the trebuchets now Fong through a punch and a wall of sharp rock rose beneath the catapults shattering them.

???Get out of the Earth King???s land foul men!??? yelled the battle hungry Fong who sent another wave of rock at the injured battalion of Renegade soldiers. They began to retreat through the hole they had climbed out of and back into the catacombs. Sokka ran up to Fong to talk to him.

???Alright lets get some troops and enter the catacombs,??? said Sokka.

???No, we have bigger worries that was just a distraction to divert the militaries attention,??? replied Fong who had worked up a sweat.

???I don???t get it what???s going on???? asked Sokka.

???Your sister has just informed me that the Renegade???s intend on launching an attack during the meeting of lords, Avatar Aang managed to stop one as did your sister, but now Aang has not been heard from since he went after the third train??? said Fong.

???What about this fourth one???? asked Sokka.

???My men have tried to stop it but it???s going too fast,??? said Fong.

Sokka was in a deep thought for a moment.

???I think I have a plan,??? grinned Sokka.

??

Zhuang began to step back as the dark figure approached him. Grabbing Zhuang by the cloth underneath his armor he hoisted him up with one arm above the ground.

???Help me men help me soldiers!??? yelled Zhuang. The Renegade soldiers all sent a stream of fire at once from all angles attacking the man, but when the flames cleared he was gone.

???That will teach you to mess with me, I am invincible??? laughed Zhuang. His memorable speech didn???t last long however. For the dark figure was back without a scratch or tare in his cloths. Zhuang looked like he had seen a ghost and being the coward he was began to run away leaving his loyal men behind to suffer the mans wrath. A dozen soldiers charged at him but they were no match. The figure fought a style of fighting no one had ever seen almost like it was to a beat as he sent men flying backwards with punches and kicks. If one of the soldier???s attacks did get by he had his second hand blocking the attack. He even took one man by the collar and without a hesitation threw him right through the glass window and falling down into the city. He dodged every one of their attacks like it was nothing, beating down each man until they all lay out cold on the train floor. The stubby general didn???t get far down the train account the man had mopped the floor with his men in under a minute. Grabbing him from behind he dragged Zhuang back to where the bomb was.

???Please no! I can make a deal with you, I would be a powerful friend??? pleaded and moaned Zhuang as he dragged across the floor. He didn???t listen however and threw the Renegade leader against the metal bow where Aang was being held.

???Please!??? groaned Zhuang. The dark figure picked up the heavy bomb with ease and places it atop Zhuang???s foot.

???No! You can???t do this its wrong you cant!??? yelled Zhuang who was now panicking.

???Watch Me,??? said the figure as he used fire bending to light the fuse. Zhuang looked shocked as he recognized that voice. He began to try to pull his crushed leg from under the heavy bomb but it was useless.

???Wait! Wait!??? yelled Zhuang

??The dark figure exited the train and headed off as the locomotive blew to small pieces.

??

Long Feng and the defeated Renegades made there way through the catacombs of the palace making there way to the city outskirts. Two soldiers ran towards Long Feng from the distance.

???Long Feng, I have word Zhuang has been killed,??? said the soldier.

???Good, better it done for me then myself having to do it,??? replied Long Feng.

???But sir what will we do now???? asked the soldier carrying the unconscious Jin over his shoulder.

???I???m taking control, and will do what Zhuang could not, now is the fourth bomb still on its way??? said Long Feng.

???Yes Sir??? replied a soldier.

???Good, this day is looking up gentlemen, now we have work to do??? stated Long Feng.

Book 5: Shadow???????????????????????????????????????????????? Chapter 11: The Face Of Darkness

The Dark figure jumped down from atop one of the small building under the now destroyed train tracks. He landed in a dark alley where it looked like no one had been in a while. The city was now in a state of panic, soldiers ran through the streets trying to control the frenzy of people and tending to the wounded. The dark figure poked his head out from behind a wall checking to see if the cost was clear. There were a dozen or so soldiers and citizens in the streets. Realizing that there was no way to get across the street with out diverting attention to him he needed a distraction.

???Cabbages, cabbages for sale!??? yelled the Cabbage man behind his stall full of fresh green cabbage. The Cabbage man???s mood soon changed when the stall full of greens suddenly burst into flames.

???My cabbage???s!??? yelled the cabbage man as he panicked around the fire. The soldier???s attention shifted as they crowded around the fire. Knowing this was his chance the man backed up against the wall. He breathed calmly and pressed his knuckles together. He dropped down into the shape of a small shadow. The small spot of darkness began to move as it crept quickly across the street behind the soldiers and back around into the alleyways across the street. The man rose back up from the shadow as he regained his solid form. He looked around and noticed a boarded up tea shop over the small wall and across the street. He transformed back into a shadow again and teleported inside the shop. It was a mess inside; papers lay scattered on the ground, tables flipped over and silver where scattered on the floor. The man picked up a small paper reading: Welcome to the Jasmine Dragon. Disregarding the note he threw it to the ground. The man walked to the middle of the dark boarded up room and sat down as he began to meditate.

The last train was getting closer and closer towards the vunrable palace as it zoomed past each station.

???Bring the bomb up to the front we will be there soon!??? commanded a Renegade lieutenant.

???Uh sir I think we have a problem!??? said the soldier as he pointed out the side window.

A large war balloon ship rose from the city as it moved side by side with the train.

???Increase the speed, earth soldiers get ready, you two steer west!??? yelled Sokka as he barked out orders. Soldiers of the earth kingdom ran towards the steer of the ship facing the train. General Fong ran out from the line of men as he approached Sokka.

???Sokka my boy if this manages to slow the train down you better get ready to jump??? said Fong.

???Don???t worry I can make it, I have legs like an air bender??? laughed Sokka.

???Ha-ha good one??? chuckled Fong.

???Fire!??? yelled Fong as he waved his hand. The soldiers raised their fists as they shot pellets of rock at the train. They were more like bullets then rock as they put hole after hole into the train and shattering the windows as well. The two vessels races side-by-side rocks and flames spitting between the two. Sokka jumped to the ground covering his head as he just dodged a stream of fire coming from the train.

???Sokka lets go!??? yelled Fong across the ships deck. The crazed General formed a plank of rock, which almost touched the train. He ran across the plank and made a jump for the train landing atop the roof. Sokka hesitated for a moment before finally mustering up the courage to jump. He ran across the small bridge connected to the ship and dove into the air. For a second or two he sat in mid air before beginning to fall just short of the train. A hand grabbed his arm just as he was about to fall to his demise. Sokka looked up to see General Fong with an angry expression on his face.

???Sokka, your going to kill yourself that way next time tell me you cant make it??? said Fong as he hoisted Sokka up with one arm.

???Sorry??? replied Sokka as he was getting his balance atop the speeding train. A few more fire and earth benders had made there way atop the train as well as the group was getting ready to board the train.

???Now watch this trick, I bet your blind friend can???t do this Sokka,??? laughed Fong. He placed his hands atop the roof and used the power of metal bending to rip open a hole in the roof.

???Ya she did that at twelve??? said Sokka.

???Dammit, I thought I could prove my skill this time??? replied a disappointed Fong.

???Hey don???t sweat it??? stated Sokka as he jumped into the train. Sokka slashed through the rock???s the renegades shot at him as he gained ground on them. Fong and the other bender???s came to help as the battle within the train went on. Sokka battled onwards to the front of the train, knocking Renegades to their knees and sending a few out the window. The final bomb lay ahead in the next cart and Sokka and Fong were getting close. A lone soldier emerged from the door of the front cart. He bent down and pulled the screw connecting the two carts out. A rift between the two carts began to open as all the back carts began to slow down. Sokka jumped across the opening quickly as the battle remained in the back carts. He punched the guard out and ran through the carts door. The fuse had been lit and Sokka had only a few minutes. He raised his sword to cut the fuse but was stopped when a Renegade from behind grabbed him. He put Sokka in a full nelson maneuver and the young general was stuck. Another guard grabbed Sokka sword from the ground and got ready to hit him. Sokka put his arms up in the air and dropped down getting out of the hold. The soldier hit his fellow soldier in the stomach with the sword and he dropped. Sokka jumped up and knocked out the other soldier with a punch to the face. The flame on the fuse was now almost within the bomb. With no time to properly stop the fuse he grabbed the flame with his bare hand. He bit hard on the blue water tribe cloth he wore as the flame went out and the skin on his palm burned. The flame was out and Sokka sat against the bomb looking at his hand. Earth kingdom and Fire nation soldiers were coming down from across the track. They opened the door to find the wounded general sitting there.

???Soldier go get help, General Sokka is injured!??? yelled one of the captains. Fong entered the train as the soldier going for help exited.

???Come on, lets go??? said Fong as he lifted Sokka up from the ground.

???You did good,??? said Fong.

The dazed Sokka walked out holding his burned hand as the two left the train finally stopping the Renegade???s attack.

??

Zuko pondered the halls of the palace wondering if he should listen to Long Feng and resign the Fire Nation, or deny him and possibly lose the only person left close to him. As people walked by he could only wonder if that was one of Long Feng???s men or just a member of the palace. Who knows how deep the roots of Long Feng???s infiltration went if there even was one. There was however one person he could trust and warn him about his decision. King Haru was in the throne room going over something when Zuko entered.

???What do you want???? asked Haru who was still angry with Zuko. Zuko looked around the room examining it closely making sure no one else was there.

???Long Feng was here,??? stated Zuko.

???What, you could have caught him,??? said Haru.

???He took Jin that???s why. If I could have stopped him I would have??? stated an angry Zuko.

Haru expression turned from angry to sympathetic when he heard this.

???Oh I???m sorry, do you know why he took her in particular???? asked Haru.

???He wants the Fire Nation to join his cause, so if I do it we would just end up being where we were seven years ago??? replied Zuko.

???Well you realize you can???t do what he???s asking,??? stated Haru.

???He???s going to kill her if I don???t, so I need you to talk to Arnook and Pathik about it after all right. It???s the only way,??? said Zuko.

???Zuko there???s bigger things then your little girl friend at stake im sorry but I will not do this??? said Haru.

Zuko grabbed the earth king by the chest and pushed him back into the wall.

???Listen to me, I don???t have a choice Haru until I find her you need to keep the others under the suspicion that I have abandon you!??? yelled Zuko. Haru raised a wall of rock from the ground separating the two. He pushed his hand out making the rock throw Zuko back a few feet.

???Don???t ever do that again, don???t think you can intimidate me just because you are a much better bender then I am!??? demanded Haru.

Zuko pulled himself up and said,?? ???I will do what I have to do. You know I am not siding with them so I hope you do the right thing??? as he slammed the door behind him. Haru sat back in his chair as he thought on the issue the bestowed him.

The dark figure sat in the main room of the Jasmine Dragon in a deep meditation. It didn???t last long because something caught his attention from outside. The shadows of what appeared to be Earth Kingdom soldiers could be seen through the thin walls, they were outside. He still sat in the middle of the floor as he moved his head around watching there shadows move. They moved towards the door and it looked as if they were getting ready to break in. He sharply turned his head around. There was a rustling in the kitchen as well coming towards him. The soldiers broke the door down and charged in to find Ruan coming from the kitchen.

???What are you doing in this abandon tea shop sir???? questioned the captain as he approached Ruan.

???I heard explosions so I took shelter in here??? replied a suspicious Ruan.

The soldier stared him down for a moment before saying ???Alright its safe now and you need to leave??? as he pointed Ruan towards the exit.

???Thank you sir??? said Ruan as he walked out the door of the Jasmine Dragon and out into the city???.
