I completly agree with you Spike815. I also love your use of sarcasm, although, I have to say, sarcasm doesn't really work when you type it. Some people just want Hollywood blockbuster scenes on a kids show. Though I have to say I think it would be waaaaay better as an anime. More violence and maturity.

the only thing i thought was kinda stupid was how easily zuko and sokka got into the prison and into a room with uniforms. but i guess the only reason it's high security is because the gondolas are the only way to get out

I see lots of colorful metaphors and not much thought behind these complaints.

    2. A new character? OMG how dare a show introduce a new character! We should stay with only characters from the first episode, new people can only possibly weigh the show down.

Katara's angry? Since when? Because she definitely wasn't yelling at Sokka during the very first episode...

The characters you don't like don't have any lines and are on screen for half a second? How terrible. And a plotline focusing on a one part of a group OUTRAGOUS!

    3. I'm sure the prison just has guards looking out into the mist day and night for anyone swimming across the boiling lake.

Since when have faceless guards EVER been good fighters? If you haven't noticed the stormtrooper effect by now you must be blind. And if it's that big a deal it looks like you'll hate most shows and movies.

And the ice box, I'm not even sure how you can say freezing someone isn't a good punishment. Especially when your prisoner can shoot fire out of his hands.

    a. Oh of course the lie is so obvious! OMG Sokka and Zuko would never go fishing! Sokka would never want fresh meat! They must have flown off into a fire nation prison!

    b. I'm sure the guards are just constantly on guard for people trying to break INTO the prison.

    c. If you don't care about a character kicking ass that's your loss.

    4. Between the Suki's spiderman stunts, the entire gondola fight, Mai saving them, and Azula being betrayed I'm not sure how much more action you could fit into an episode. But I guess you'd rather see giant explosions!

And good riddance. If you don't like the characters, action, or plot I'm not sure why you were ever a fan. Not every episode is going to be super-epic-action-packed with a dramatic twist at the end. The past episodes haven't been like that, and holding new episodes to unrealistic standards is going to end exactly like this.

Win and QFT. Seriously, how much more action could there possibly be in these episodes? Sokka and Zuko were infiltrating a maximum security prison. They had to stay undercover (or in Zuko's case, try.) And as for the gondola fight, there were two fights happening in a very small space. Its not like anyone could breakout super powerful moves. Don't even get me started on the amount of win Suki accomplished. But hey, everyone is entilted to their opinion.
    Logically, QFT2!

Man all I can say is the action in this episode owned. Now as for Toph and Katara not having been brought along, remember, Sokka said he wanted to do the mission alone. (was probably already said). But DAMN. The ACTION. Suki vs Ty Lee and Sokka almost cut Azula?! I mean WOW.

It was needed that Katara and Toph stayed behind. He's trying to win the gaang over as friends one person at a time. He already has Toph, then came Aang, here was Sokka, so I gues it's Katara next and the circle of friendship is complete before the comet.

Yeah, Zuko's gonna have friends now, and picnics, and adventures, and see purple dragons.

Dunno. The "My uncle's the warden, you idiot" and facepalm combo was pretty good in the giggles department (at least for me). XD

hey guys while I was looking at the transcripts of the waterbeinding master ep. I noticed something

Aang: Master Poophead won't teach her because she's a girl.
Sokka: Why don't you just teach her, Aang?
Katara (raising her head with a smile): Why didn't I think of that? (Getting up.) At night, you can teach whatever moves you learned from Master Pakku. That way you have someone to practice with and I get to learn waterbending. Everyone's happy!
    Sokka: I'm not happy.
Katara: But you're never happy. Come on, Aang.

LOL, Katara said the same thing to sokka guess that's something Sokka and Zuko have in common

    bump.

Yeah but it kind of Sucked that Toph doesn't get an episode to really connect with Zuko. Hell Sokka got two. Another instance where Toph is vastly unapreciated. Oh woah is me.

But Toph already trusted Zuko because she wasn't there in the first season. And yeah, Shaolina, I suspected that too.

But Toph deserves her own episode anyway, because she is just that awesome!

However, shameless Zutara fangirl that I am, I would gladly overlook Toph for some zuko and katara bonding episodes

Even so he was apologizing for burning her and she did defend him when she came back. Meaning that she did get a feel to Zuko and she found him a good guy. Since she had no previous hate it just made him like him enough to be on his "join the avatar" side and enough confidence to joke with him at the end of the episode. Still I would have prefered an Iroh type talk session with him. Also Angel, next episode I predict a Zuko-Katara friendship episode simple because she's the missing link in the friendship circle.
