i was actually going to cancel that post which i did but i just wanted to get my opinion in before i can actually find anyone who just goes out and thinks that bloodbending beats all other bending. In my case i see it very powerful though somewhat easily countered. A fire bender or an air bender can easily blow wind or breathe fire into their opponet while they are controlling them or an earth bender can easily move the ground with there mind. Though as i was saying this is just before any type of bais person comes in screaming into the forum declaring waterbending the best.

The whole idea of blood bending makes me feel vulnerable inside. It just doesn't seem right. I know Hana was desperate to get out but, I didn't think she was that crazy. Katara only learned blood bending as an act of desperation. Just like Hana was desperate to get out. I think she knew Katara could do it and put her under the same circumstances. Btw, her face really creeped me out. Like in any second she would form into a ware-wolf and eat Katara alive. And did you see those veins penetrating through her arm? I'm okay with blood when it's a little cut but when your insides show up on your outsides I feel oozie. It's just the thought of having my blood ripped out of me like those flowers makes me faint. Or she could freeze the blood inside you and when your insides finally thaw out your nothing but strawberry jam. I can see why Katara wouldn't want to learn it. But why did

Hana make those people come to the mountain?

Well, definately one of the strongest and deadliest ones revealed.

But if Aang got really pissed, he could instantaneously use air bending, collapsing the lungs from lack of oxygen and instantly kill an opponent.

To pick out the firebenders a few at a a time like they did in the Southern Water Tribe, and keep them captive.

An act of recenge. And the mountain already had the creepy lore.

Yeah, but the mountain was creepy in itself.

So it wouldn't be hard to believe.

its very powerful, that much is obvious. but before anyone goes off claiming waterbending is the best...they should also consider that it is only possible for a Master Waterbender at the zenith of their power (full moon)

all the bending styles are balenced and have their own advanced moves, i'm just waiting to see what firebending masters can do under the comets powers...hell, wonder what Combustion man could do with the power boost, since supposedly its FAR more potent than the full moon.

You think that ship the waterbenders destroyed as the same one aang went to.

could be, though it wasn't so close to the village in the first ep because if you remember the ship semmed to have been frozen right in front of the village. The village may have been moved in order try to escape the raids or the freezing of the ship may actually have been ambushed far away from the village and it just looked like it was frozen in front of the village.

either way it's a 50-50 chance it is or isn't

No, it's the same thing, or else they wouldn't show it. C'mon, now.

    Yes. I really can't wait.

But everyone knows the invasion plan will fail, the fire nation already knows about it.

Though from the Puppet Master, and the Roku's valcono fight, I can only imagine what they have in store for us.

It's the same thing with the spirit oasis. It keeps skipping from behind the palace, to in front. Haha.

But yeah, I get what your saying. It does look like it would be in front of the village.

Also, the Ice would freeze and they'd probably move the village closer to the shore, were fish and penguins are.

In response to the original post by LordMordor:

But she(Katara) didn't do anything like what was happening to Aang and Sokka, she just sorta sat her down. Which is what Hana(I thought I heard Hama but whatever) pretty much did to the rats at first. She wasn't tossing her around, she was just pulling her down. I also thought throughout the fight that maybe Yue was taking Katara's side, which could totally change the outcome, potentially.

i'm actually not to sure the rest of the FN knows about the day of black sun....

there has been no indication at all of any preparations or discussions. I'm thinking Azula might just be keeping the information to herself for some personal motive.

but of course it will fail, or at most only partially succeed (example, making it to FN soil with a good sized army, but being unable to win by the time the eclipse ends)

You do realize that by writing "Bloodbending" in the title, you just gave away THE ULTIMATE
    SPOILER
    about Puppetmaster!!!!

Please change it, I'm gonna have to leave this forum for a month if people keep being so inconsiderate to the non-spoiler-loving fans...

When Azula explained why they had to go to the beach, for the Fire Lord to speak to his advisors, I think was about the Black Sun.

Or Azula is keeping it to herself, to become the hero, being the only one prepared for the invasion.

it could have been Hama, not really sure

but yeah, after thinking about it more I realize i may have overreacted a little, but it still seems really fast to me. Never considered the possibility of Yue taking sides though, that would be pretty cool and make sense.

forgot which episode it was, but I loved Sokka's little moment defending the moon, lol
