my god, and i thought the lake laogai group fight was good, the earth king fight when the gaang is storming the castle was truly EPIC!

More about the Earth King fight:

I like the storming of the castle scene because of the rhythm and the pace did not let up until they made it inside the walls of the Palace. The choreography was exceptional, it showed just how much the team fights like a team, and it was not over the top. And it felt EPIC, but not long, like the way most of the anime's draw out battles for WEEKS. This fight is a stand out as to how it SHOULD be done.

Get to the point
keep it simple (not convoluted)
show respect for the bending (martial) arts behind the moves
and keep the characters graceful

the Earth King storming of the Palace showed all of those qualities in spades.

The best fights were Seige of the North, and The Earh King.
Katara fighting Zuko in the Spirit Oasis and her fighting Master Pakku was awesome.
Aang and Toph were fighting all of the Earth King's soldiers was one of the best battles in the series. Aang showed off earthbending and Top really showed what she could do. Aslo Katara got to do a little bending of her own.
