    But I have 2 questions.

    1. Where is Zuko's mother?

    2. What happened to Azula?

I know! I was so mad when it just ended without an answer to either question. Azula went nuts!!!!

Best ending ever would leave no room for mindless spin-offs and would have leaved no loose threads hanging.

I don't think that we've seen the last of the Avatar world...

If not the story of Aang and Zuko, maybe some sort of future in the world with a new Avatar. Maybe they connect with Aang in order to learn Airbending from the last living Airbending Master...

They can't continue with Aang and Zuko. There's no one left to fight. They beat the big baddie and left no real room for new enemies. Unless they go into SPACE (see Mario or Jacen) or go underground to fight the dreaded MOLE PEOPLE

I was hoping Aang and Katara would'nt have kissed.Nothing against Kataang, but I think it would have been better to leave the ships to speculation.Still, one of, if not the best episode of the series

Then Aang could have Roku teach him the elements. And you can't bend in the spirit world.

    Avatar can either go like:

pokemon: where they continue the story with a sucky new theme song

Dragonball Z: where they're all grown up

yu-gi-oh gx: where it's all new people (which would suck)

Or it could NOT continue. You know, since that would be a bad idea. A thematic continuation would be tolerable, but would require new characters. This often ends badly.

To continue with the old characters, who have defeated the Big Bad, they would have to invent a whole new big bad like Dragon Ball Z (or every other anime and their mother). Neither solution seems good, as they would be jumping the shark, nuking the fridge, and frying the ostrich. Let it rest!

Dragon ball z way would be the best. I think they would be stupid to not continue cause that would end their cash flow.

It might ruin the story and nick dosen't seem to like avatar very much, seeing how they hardly ever show it. But I have never seen Dragon Ball Z so I wouldn't know...

So you embrace the idea that business is an end while we, the consumer, the squabbling masses who clamor for more and more, regardless of depth and meaning, are merely a means to the end that is business. Avatar is but a tool in the drawer of cash, a utensil in the bin of finance. Yes, milk it until its teets have run dry! Let the cow be beaten to death, and we shall still watch it! Our souls shall drain away as all meaning and character flow out of the show and it becomes one great stereotype unto itself! AVATAR FOREVER!!!
