Van Tsu-Yan (Qiang/Spear wielder)
_______________________________________________
Van, a disgraced former EK soldier, tried to make a living as a desert bandit, but thanks to treachery, on the part of a girl named Siyo, he finds himself on the run again, making deadly enemies and being wrapped up in more trouble than he would ever want. So, he returns to a place he's familiar with in hips of disappearing. _______________________________________________
Full Moon Bay...
Van the Stowaway.
It didn't have a good ring to it, and he hoped he wouldn't make a habit of this. Van shifted uncomfortably in the cargo hold of the ship, and wiped the sweat from his head in the near total darkness. Even though it was nighttime, it was hot. It was damp. And Van hated it. Aside from nighttime heat, this was almost like he was still in the desert. No, scratch that, no one was trying to kill him here. Atleast not yet, anyway.
It still didn't make a lot of sense to him, what happened back there. All he could figure was Siyo, which probably wasn't her real name, killed Xin Mao's first tramp then became one of Xin Mao's new tramps so she could find out where he stored his money and treasure. But, either she couldn't get the info out of Xin Mao, or she figured on framing someone else, so she got the info out of Van.
Yet, that still doesnt answer two questions: Why didn't she just run away once she...got the information out of Van? And who was she working for? Xin Mao said it himself, no one who lived in the desert their whole life would have skin like Van's, and definitely not as milky wight as Siyo.
You know what, screw this. Van was miles and miles away from the desert. It was time to stop thinking about Xin Mao. Sure, he'd probably put out a hit on Van on principle and sure, he'd have to look over his shoulder for the rest of his life, but then again, he was already living life like that. It was probably high time Van returned to Ba Sing Se anyway.
Van hadn't been in Ba Sing Se since that whole zombie incident everyone's pretending never happened. He was only in Ba Sing Se at the time to catch the Hami Tournament. It was one of the better times of his life. The few fights Van saw then were spectacular, especially the one with the Airbender and that hyper agile guy with the funny hair. Van would've joined in all the fun himself if it wasn't the kinda thing that'd get an army ensign kicked out. The army looks down on it's soldiers getting into potentially fatal situations. A small chuckle escaped his lips, and Van immediately tensed up. The wood planks of the hold weren't sound proof. If he got found out for stowing away, he'd be sent to prison, and that meant it wouldn't be long until his damn father showed up.
So, Van kept his mind on things that wouldn't make him want to laugh, which was surprisingly easy given his accommodations. Van thought about what he'd do once he was in Ba Sing Se. He thought about what he would do if Xin Mao really did sick an assassin on him. He thought about what he'd do if he ever saw Siyo again and...
Dammit all he couldn't get her out of his head. It would've been the wise thing to do, the sensible thing to do, but from taking the eel hound to now, he'd go from what he should be doing next then back to her. What was it about her that he couldn't shake? It wasn't the intimacy thing. He's done what he's done with her before with other women. It wasn't that she was overly pretty. Well, yeah she had good curves, but he'd seen that before. Was it that she tried to kill him? Van sure as thunder hoped not. That's a fetish he wouldn't willingly want to indulge. Then what the hell was it? Why was her face constantly popping into his head?
Van shook his head and wiped the beading sweat again, fully aware of the deja vu it brought. He nudged his spear with his foot, just to make sure it didn't get up and walk away in the last 3 minutes, and decided to stare up at the ceiling, which was actually the floor. Somewhere above him, Van could hear someone walking, boots thumping on the wood. Sounded like more then one too. Three maybe? He was about to ignore it, when he realized they were getting louder. They were talking about something, Van strained to hear.
"-uld be a stowaway," said a gruff voice.
"Not on my boat!" replied the ship's captain.
Just great.
Van had just enough time to grab his spear and carefully press against the hull, or whatever the nautical term is called, when a hatch opened a figure stepped halfway down the creaky wooden stairs Van was just sitting on. Light poured in as the man panned around the cargo bay with a lamp. Van crouched as low as he could, willed himself still, held his breathe, and pretended he was invisible. The light played just over his head like it was taunting him.
C'mon pal, nothing down here but stale bread...
"Hey! Someone's down here! Don't move!"

Well here's the first part of my story:
----------------------------------------------------------
Riome (Earthbending):
Me and Yaang were in an alley.
"Riome, I'm scared"
"Don't be, we're going to get out of here."
"But, there are firebenders out there!" Yaang said, scared clearly.
"It's going to be..." But it wasn't good. A firebender saw them, and shot fire at Yaang, he started to cry. I earthbended a pillar raising the firebender to the sky. Suddenly, Yaang stopped breathing.
I was sweating. I didn't remember where I was, until I saw the clearing of the cave I slept in. I noticed a few pebbless on my knees. My mother always said I earthbended while having a nightmare.
I wanted to kill that firebender. I went to Wan Shi Tong's library, to find out where he was, but it was gone. I found some scrolls on the ground that said that he is in the capital. But I couldn't go there alone, I needed allies, and food, and weapons. So I got out of the cave, to search for a friend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry I couldn't post so long. I was in trip with school.

It's not that i think that you don't read them, Dafoose. I just REEEEAAALLLY like input and it helps me fix the bugs or problems such as misspellings and contradictions. It might be awhile before my next cause i need to think up the sequence of events and then the fights themselves. |
My RPG Character
Name: Nakahiro (Naki for short)
Age: 39
Affiliation: Northern Water Tribe
Story: Naki was master Pakku's second apprentice. Pakku has taught many students over the years but only a select few are picked as apprentices. Appreticship intitles much more individualized attention, specialized training and more advanced bending. The apprentice and the master also may go on several missions together. Anyways, Naki was Pakku's second apprentice. They trained for many years and became best freinds. Pakku first took an intrest in Naki because he was raised by his grandparents, therefore making much more disiplined than many of his peers. Pakku like the focus and disipline he saw and decided to take Naki on as his apprentice.
After many years, they eventually fought together in the Great battle of the North Pole (as seen on Avatar) and now he is a memeber of the Order of the White Lotus with his master. He is not, however, a grand lotus yet. He is still a Lotus master, one step down from Grand Lotus. His new goal is to make Grand Lotus before his master dies. He is popularly considered a waterbending master.

Mmmm...i like where you're coming from, but you need to make it unrelated to the show.
We don't RP about the show, we RP in our own world.
thas why it's called "Create your own bender RPG." not "Use a bender from the show and weave a story with the same characters."
That's called "Copyright."
Sorry to be harsh.
However, the character you made, age, occupation, and somewhat unrelated background are all cool.
Just think of a different story to write about, since we are RPing in a different world.
For example, the avatar, (who has not posted in a while) is lorddarkboy (Almost as bad as "Willy Woo", but hey.)
But we pretend we don't have an Avatar, since he stopped posting. Well I do, it makes my story better.
nice pic.
BTW guys, I'm sorry I didn't post on sunday, I had a lot of crap to do, I was aching from running, and I was sick, and I was playing Left 4 Dead and I killed bout 4,000 zombies.
Don't worry, the zombies will not come into the rpg.
