There are 84 WT ships, each with 50 - 150 soldiers on board. Because this is a naval battle, I expect the Waterbenders will pwn. There are 900 elite Sun Warriors riding Dragons providing Air Support for the Water Tribe.

Factors: If you do the math, there are more WT soldiers here than there are in the entire EK military. We have the numerical advantage.

Dragons beat Airships. I don't think I need to explain why. We control the skies.

Would Foxhole7 care to provide some numbers in return, so the Libraman can calculate the outcome correctly?

the sun warriors aid the battle with much ease, however the badger moles arrive. the air nomads statioed manage to successfully drive back the ships. the fire nation loses 1,000 men. the earth kingdom loses 2,500 men at fighting, and drive back the entire frontier.

How can I lose 1000 men when I only had 900 men at the fight?

ooh, sorry, misread. you lost 900 though sorry, man, but the earth kingdom was really fortified there and they sent every last man there, and really fought them.

Before I do, just let me be clear on this. You have 900 dragons, and 84 WT ships, right? How many WT on each ship, because 84 times 100 is 8400, which sounds like a bit much.

Most of those ships only have fifty men - only the command ships would have 150. Lesser links in the chain of command might have 100.

So we're looking at about 5000 - 6000 men on those ships, give or take a few hundred.

Alright then, here's the lowdown. We have about 40 ships, with 1500 crew members between them. The 900 dragons are met with 1000 earthbenders, many of whom are led by the boulder and the hippo, and are trained at launching boulders accurately enough to take the dragons out of the sky. These Earth Benders can all retreat on a moment's notice, thanks to the screaming badger brigade, which is standing by at an unknown location. A few ships have retreated upriver, leaving mines and stalagmites in their wake. A few DoBS tanks are on the scene as well, also firing boulders at the dragons (remember these tanks can withstand fire). As for the airships, many of them retreat. Foxhole7 is commanding the navy in person, and he is considering surrender to protect the lives of his crew.

I was hoping libraman would wait for this before determining the outcome.

Can I quote Aang to you?

"Back when I visited the Fire nation 100 years ago, there were lots of Dragons!".

This is the same world - started from scratch. In my Fire nation, Dragons are sacred creatures. There was no hunting. Just capturing and training for combat

    "Lots of dragons."
Meaning more than usual. That's also not a definete estimate either, so saying that one is one is different than saying Three is a crowd.
The number three is not determined by the word "Crowd." Logically speaking.

The ratio of sky bison to dragons is not 1:1.

    *humongous facepalm*

SKY BISON to DRAGON ratio: my estimate? 6:1

And Get rid of Azula for crying out loud.

I'll get rid of my dragons when the Earth Kingdom gets rid of it's Badger-Moles. I'll get rid of Azula when the Earth Kingdom gets rid of Toph, the Boulder, and the Hippo, and the Water Tribes get rid of Katara.

    We've all got these things.
