Ok so Zuko is a good guy now, and even though he was never really evil, he has a lot of asplainin' to do.

So, I was thinking, do you think they'll make an epilogue or additional episode or miniseries showing not only what happens to the other charaters, but also if Zuko goes back and seeks redemption for the sins he commited? Like trying to make ammends with Song, that annoying kid he saved and his mom, and the other characters he met?

He didn't do anything to Song in fact like you said he saved him and the village from the Earthbenders, therefore there is nothing to make amends for.

With the gaang yes, with minor characters maybe. He won't be able to give that ostrich-horse back to Song though as it seems they let it go after traveling to Ba Sing Se.

The final credit sequence at the end of the finale will show Zuko travelling around the world, apologizing to people, played to the tune of really sappy emo music.

I've actually had this feeling that when Zuko becomes the next Fire Lord and puts an official end to the war, everyone who isn't Fire Nation is going to love him.

Or maybe the Fire Nation as well. After all, sustaining a needless, protracted war is very draining on economic and human resources.

I am, of course, in no way referring to current events.

zuko will most probably take the throne and put an end to the war, though it will be hard considering people in the fire nation will hate him because he is considered a traitor by ozai and ozai probably brainwashed fire nation citizens to hate zuko.

I mean, if the way that one village in "The Painted Lady" was being treated is any indication, the people of the Fire Nation will be glad when the super-militarization comes to an end.

but remember in The Deserter how the fire Nation kids reacted to the puupet show. Most villages have seen prosperity during the war because the fire Nation has vastly better technology than the other nations and also since they've captured the Earth Nation they have coal power, plus the generals and high class people couldnt be happier.

True, but also remember how the kids in "The Headband" reacted once they were given a measure of freedom.

And in any industrialized nation there is a large underclass so I think it might be an overstatement to say that "most" of the population is proseperous. And the kind of resources and funding the military would need would undoubtedly put significant strain on the economy...it always does.

Forgive any percieved terseness, but, obviously, Zuko will make ammends for every misdeed he's ever commited once he helps Aang end the war.

    Official website > some fansite

If you have the episode she's in, you can always check the credits at the end if you think the offical site isn't good enough.
