It's a little of both. It's great that it's ending but it sucks that it's ending. It's the final confrontation, what we've all been waiting for.

Let me ask you this. Would you rather end the show now, while it's still the most epic thing ever, or milk it for all it's worth and continue the show for so long that it gets old and saturated like Spongebob?

I don't think I would go with the latter.

It's both good and bad. It's good because we can finally have the questions answered, and (hopefully) get to see Ozai and Azula meet their much awaited and anticipated demise. And then it's bad because that's it! No more Zuko, Iroh, Sokka or Toph. No more suspenseful episode endings...

I think it's good. Yeah it's the end, but I'm predicting a heartwarmingly happy end, something we would never get from a continuous series (at least not for a really long time). And after that we'll always have the memories.

It will be sad once the avatar trilogy is done but since the summary of the whole story isnt very long, it has to end with very few episodes. If you tried to stretch the show out to 10 years, you'd have a lot of fillers blocking up the main story. They must some how make the avatar live longer on Nick, maybe they could make those chibi style minis of avatar into a series!

    It's a good thing. It's a good thing.

I'll say it until you say it. It's a good thing.

It's a good thing because it's the conclusion of a story. No story can go on forever before getting old and repetitive. I wouldn't say it's bad that the show is ending, it's more of a bittersweet feeling, it'll be sad to see it over but we do have the movies to look forward to and a possible spin-off.

I don't think I would go with the latter.

People use this "excuse" for ending shows and when it comes down to it new stories can be made, it can become more epic, with the skill of the artists.

There are shows around that have had many seasons and a few of them I think are pretty good.

Here is explanation on why it is a bad thing, if you haven't seen already: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TKIGClhF9k

The characters only have one goal, it can't last forever. I don't think its a great thing but not bad either.

It's bittersweet I mean I want to see the finale, and i've been a fan since the "Nicksgiving Marathon" in 2005 so it's sad that the thing i've been obsessed with for a little more than 2 1/2 years is coming to an end.
