    Don't know if this is already in here, as I didn't see it on the 1st post... Just received my Entertainment Weekly (Issue #988/989, April 25/May 2, 2008 ) and there is a blurb with M. Night on page 16. EW says the movie is slated for a July 4, 2010 release. Quote from M. Night: "This has an intensely spiritual Buddhist substory that I really dug."

    At least this shows that he cares about the story, the guy who did that Blue Crush gave up half way.

    Each movie will be based on one season. So the first movie will be a live action version of the first season etc.
