this is going to be wiierd by the time they make the thrid movie like 6 years will have gone by and the actors are going to look way older and in the series only 9 months time passes. also and will probably be taller than katara in the movie! I dont want to have to wait 2 years for the movie! why couldnt they have started making it earlier.

Well, it's kind of like the same thing with the series. I just watched a couple episodes from early Season 1 and everyone looks and sounds so different. But it will be weird. Like the Harry Potter movies. Especially since it's over the span of a year.

ok, so i've read that filming officially starts spring 2009. no lie. they have tp set up sound stages, get alot of things approved for filming, put together a crew, and get their actors readied up in front of the camera. unfortunately i stumbled upon an article that was posted about 3 weeks ago. I don't know if anyone has already read it but M.Night says that they might have found their potential cast, but it seemed a bit exaggerating the way he said it. if you guys wanna read it, here's the site.

please check it out and let me know what you think. i hope it's not too late.

u newbies need to get on track, when they make these trilogy movies they continuously make them over a span of like 22 to 3 years they dont make one movie then stop take a rest and then start the second its basically filming one movie at once and then break it up into three movies simular as in the lord of the rings.

    My timeline:
First 30 minutes: The Avatar Returns, plus a bit of prologue. Story is changed so they escape to the Southern Air Temple instead of just visit it.
Next 15 (or 20 if you include the Agni Kai) minutes: The Southern Air temple.
    Next 10 minutes: Kyoshi Warriors
    Next 20 minutes: Winter Solstice
Next 5 minutes: Instead of the waterbending scroll plot, just have them practicing their waterbending a bit.
Next 45 minutes: Flashbacks of the Storm added to The Blue Spirit.
Next 50 minutes: The Siege of the North + Waterbending Master

i don't think the flashbacks will take that long. producers said they want the North Pole to be a majority of the movie. that's where they want most of the fight scenes to be and alot happens there.

2 1/2 hours is not enough to cram Book 1. I'm pretty sure MNight will have to cut out some parts and slightly change the actual story. Suki will definitely be cut-out in this movie since Yue will be playing the love interest of Sokka. There isn't enough time for 2 of them in a 2.5 hrs movie.
