    Friends and length of time have nothing to do with it.

    Reviews and submitting info to different guides is what works. If you want to get your level up so bad, start submitting episode summaries, quotes, goofs, notes, etc. to different guides

    Question... does Aang remember everything that happens from when he's in the Avatar state? It seems like he remembers most of what he does but he always faints (or near-faints) and seems surprised by the devastation afterwards.

    I was just thinking how interesting it would be if Azula tried to kill Aang with lightning while he was in the Avatar state, but then Zuko or Iroh saved him and/or distracted Azula, but then Aang didn't remember that when he went back to normal again.

    He looks as if he still has the use of his body (e.g. I believe he hears Katara in Southern Air Temple, and saw where the fire nations soldiers were in The Avatar Returns in order to direct his super-waterspout), but he's distracted with whatever the avatar state is making him do to make him remember it all.
