Well, we all saw it. Aang kisses Katara again. But the weird thing is, she pulls away, and runs away to hug Zuko. Too bad for Kataangers, very good for Zutarians. Discuss shipping part of trailer here.

but knowing Bryke they always like to tease us, and steer us in the wrong direction. (show a bad Kataang moment, and a good Zutara moment) This pretty much proves that Kataagn will happen. I'm no shipper (excpet George) for all I care Katara could end up with a ham sandwich (which I ship btw, yea that's right I lied about being a non-shipper in the same post ) But I'm fairly positive that Kataang will happen now. |
PS: putting the actual spoiler in the thread title kinda defeats the whole purpose of warning ppl about spoilers with "*MEGA SPOILERS*" don't cha think?
But we are forgetting one little thing... actually two.
And that chakra thing. Lets not forget that one.

I was just waiting for someone to start a topic on the ships. Well sooner than later it was bound to happen. But as my grandpappy use to say don't count your chickies before they hatch. |
And as my grandpappy says: "Who cares about counting the chickens before they hatch? Omellettes are high in protien!"

Logic behind what I said is: Instead of using something for some long distant goal (or dinner), you use it now (while it's low in fat... Hmmm... eggs and coffee... with ham...)
*runs off to make a very early breakfast*

Never too late to flip flop.
John Kerry taught me that lesson.

Why cook it? Better raw and wiggling.
*is a major Kataang shipper*
Sorry, guys, but those clips were from two entirely different episodes. The one with Aang kissing Katara is when they're in their Fire Nation outfits, and it looks like to me that Katara pulled away in suprise/shock, not disgust. It happens. The next scene showed Katara hugging Zuko while in her Water Tribe clothes, and although it was a cute scene, it seems like nothing more than a "I totally forgive you" hug.
Let's face it - Nickelodeon knows how much controversy there is between Zutara and Kataang, and that is EXACTLY why they put those clips in. It's to drive us insane and ensure that we will without a doubt stay tuned for the final episodes. But since when has Nickelodeon shows EVER split apart a pairing that has been canon from the beginning? I swear, nearly all Nick shows I have seen put the "best friends" together: Ned and Moze (outraged NedxSuzie shippers, anyone?), Zoey and Chase (c'mon, it's SO obvious it's gonna happen, James doesn't stand a CHANCE), Josh and Mindy...and it's not only Nick, it's practically every other sitcom as well.
I'm not dissing Zutara; I think it's kinda cute. But frankly, I'm being realistic here. I doubt Katara would choose Zuko over Aang, especially with her history with each. And must I remind people of Mai?
Ooh. Haha. While I'm at it, I just want to add to those who don't like the age difference - Aang is two years younger than Katara, who is ALSO two years younger than Zuko. Yet Katara has stated herself that she doesn't think of Aang as that "goofy little kid she met in the iceberg anymore". Age really doesn't matter in this point of time - if I remember correctly from Ned's Declassified, many of the relationships in that show happened during 7th grade, where the kids range from twelve to thirteen or so.
Okies. Done ranting. Hope I've made others realize my point. Apparently, Kataang WILL happen. We'll just have to wait and see.
If I'm not mistaken, denial is the first stage of grief. Then it moves on to anger, then pleading, and finally acceptance.
It matters not when those two evens occur. All that matters is that Zutara is canon.
