An alternative theory: Suffering teaching Zuko, Ozai's plan

    This is a whole new theory, in The Storm, Ozai said," you will learn respect, and suffering will be your teacher."?? This could be meant, litterally.?? Zuko had it easy, but wasn't tough, couldn't fight.?? Ozai wants Zuko to be fire lord, he wants him to succed him.?? But Zuko was weak.?? He wanted Zuko to be strong, tough, so he banished him.?? Then, he sent him to do a near impossible task, to strengthen him, in knowledge, how to face the Avatar, for when he would rule.?? Then he sent Zhao as his competitor, also challenging, however, he knew Aang wouldn't be caught.?? Then, to strengthen Zuko more, make him stronger than his sister, he made Azula go after him and Iroh, knowing Iroh could help Zuko hold his own.?? He wants Zuko strong, suffering to teach him.

    But, what I think will happen, is that Zuko will be ready to become fire lord, but Azula will say that she is stronger, Ozai will declare an Agnikai, while they fight, Aang fights Ozai, defeats him,??now Zuko and Azula are now actually fightin to become the next fire lord, they kill eachother, so next to become is Iroh, who stops the war.

    Sifu, this is your fourth thread in a few hours, none of them completely useful. This DOES belong in the spoilers and speculations thread, I don't care for your opinion, it does. I have no problem reporting you, so stop making this threads that are a complete waste of time!

    He made 4 threads in like 2 hours. He doubled one, and 2 should have been in the spoilers thread. It's a violation, these aren't completely necessarry, or even worth creating, and it wastes bandwith. I don't honestly know what that is, but it is important, or so I've heard. I'm just standing up for it, too.

    I have thought about that. If daddy-dearest wanted to be rid of Zuko utterly, he would not have provided Zuko a decent vessel (it lasted nearly three years traveling around the world), an experienced crew, and a superior teacher.

    Major adjustment: Ozai tells him at the end that he did all of this so Zuko could become strong, as he was just a miserable firebender at a young age. Zuko, however, rejects him furiously and it becomes an instant Agni Kai. If it was up to me, I'd have Zuko be Fire Lord next.

    HEY SOCCERDAWG! I have waited to get on these boards for forever, i finally registered. I LOVE AVATAR, am having a SOTFN party with my friends. I posted because I finally could, I don't happen to like spoilers, so I kept my speculation here. I worked on these theories 4 awhile, didn't mean to repeat them, and I say, you have no right to criticize what I am doing!

    Fair. I'm not going criticize you for loving Avatar, or for being excited to put these on the boards. But it is annoying to see more and more useless threads, and you can't deny you created 4. This and your other theory should have been in 1 thread, at the very least. I personally hate spoilers too. The season one vs season two thing should've come at the end of season 2, but mainly because that seems better. That thread is fine, and how did you double a thread by accent?

    ya see, I wanted to post a few of the theories me and my friends work on. There are tons, those are just two. From fire nation civil war to gyatso being a white lotus memeber, why the mechanist looked down at the end of the northern air temple. I just wanted to share a few of them with you all. I didn't think both this, and the Azulon one should be together.

    I personally see nothing wrong with theories being posted. They're the most interesting of the topics, and the pinned threads become very long and sometimes intimidating, and/or off-topic. It's nice to have a thread dedicated to discussing one particular theory.

    back on topic, I think that Ozai truly isn't evil. As Iroh said," why would he banish you if he didn't care." If he didn't care about Zuko, why wouldn't he just kill him. Also, he had Iroh to travel with him, he knows his own brother's strength and wisdom. Of cource, Ozai wanted to be fire lord over Iroh, but still. Ozai has never done anything truly evil. He isn't a good guy, but it isn't black and white, it's always grey.
