    good point, didnt think about that, still the fire nation likes strength, and he did burn Zuko

    But Ozai gave Zuko so much to survive on. He wants his son to survive, not to show the weakness that he did in not fighting back.

    Another possibility is he gets a redemption Ag-Ni-Kai against his father, and shows his strength though loses. His dad then would believe he was strong
