Am I practically the only one who is happy Zuko helped Azula. I know many were disapointed but come on did you really expect him to join the gang. If he had??the show??would have become boring anyway he's probably going to change during the end of season after facing his father. At least now we finally get to see what really goes on in the heart to the fire nation. Come on you Agni-Kai's.

Uh, for one didn't you see at the end that he REGRETED (even if it was just for a moment) helping her??? And who said that Zuko never made a secret plan with Iroh to overthrow Azula... think of all the possibilities...

I don't think he really sided with Azula I think he really sided with Uncle Iroh and the others. I believe he and Iroh have a plan to take down Azula and to do that Zuko has to gain Azula's trust something Iroh could not do himself but, trusted the newly reformed Zuko to do. I think Zuko should become good weither he is a part of the gang is completely different than just becoming good.

I'm ESTATIC that??Zuko helped Azula. It would have been dull if he did what too many ppl wanted him to do. I don't like Azula at all, but Zuko returning to his villainious self was easily the greatest moment of the season finale. So repeat after me: ALL HAIL PRINCE ZUKO!!!!!!

Zuko can't be evil. There was an entire season detailing his moral journey to find his destiny, and everything about his metamorphosis into the "beautiful prince he was always meant to be". If Zuko had really meant what he said or did in the fight, all of his moral development would have been pointless, everything from him getting sick, and letting Appa go, etc. Zuko will not stay evil; if he's really chose to side with Azula. I'm still hoping he's only acting like he's on Azula's side, and he's really planning something. That makes the most sense.

It was all part of the suspense the creators used to make us think which one was he attacking. It's not because he's good or evil it happened to make us think which side he will take.

I'm only saying this because I took a philosophy course in college once, but. . . there is no pure good, or pure evil. There is only relativity. Zuko thought about what was best for HIM, and he acted on it. He thought that siding with his nation, sister, and father was best for him, so he attacked the Avatar. Can anyone honestly say they would've done differently? Before, when he was running from Azula, he thought she was trying to kill him (or at least imprison him), so he ran. But then she asked for his help in taking the last EK stronghold, and he saw his chance to restore the honor he's wanted for so long. That was good. For Zuko, if not the rest of the world. . .

totally agree would not change a single thing about the season finale.

season one left us feeling all warm and hopefull.

this is more like brave heart when the hero has to flee and re-group after a devastaing battle.

I personally am gald Zuko didn't join the gang. It would have been really boring to see them all together like that and the way Zuko and Aang greeted each other wasn't exactly friendly. And I hate how people are saying "Katara will convince them to let him join." I doubt it. She wasn't thrilled about Jet joining and she'll probably act the same way with Zuko, you could say, she knows more about him now but all she really knows is that Zuko lost his mother, she knew Jet lost his parents remember? Shee knew the Fire Nation had hurt??Jet but didn't trust him again and she had even liked him from the beginning. Plus, people seem to be forgeting that while Zuko and Katara "bonded" so did Zuko and Aang. When Zuko was struck down Aang saved him and talked to him about his old friend from the Fire Nation, then Zuko (even though Aang was out) did talk to Aang saying that "[his] sister was born lucky, [while he] was lucky to be born." Then Aang saved him again. And even though Iroh helped them at the North Pole, they weren't thrilled to see him when he showed up on the doorstep. I think Aang almost dying will make the group forget that Zuko almost helped them.

Another thing is, why hasn't anyone noticed whats going on here its so obvious. The whole plot for Zuko is for him to try and regain his honour and more importantly for things to go back to way they were. And thats wot the writters are showing Zuko making that decision and returning his honour??but thing is things aren't always the same as you remember them and he will soon??realise it wasn't worth??returning to his old way of life with his deciteful sister and disapproving father??and he??will change his mind. I'm not saying he will join Aang, he??SHOULD diffinately not but will choose a new destiny.??
