I laughed when i saw Wikipedia. Because it's soooooooo reliable, i mean no1 can edit it!! Wow its amazing!
Anywhooo, out of the options it will probabli be that Aang hasn't mastered the avatar state. It isn't really a dark secret but it is a HUGE secret to keep from every1. I mean the Gang has onli got like what... a week left until the final attack on Ozai, and without the avatar state which every1 else is probably relying on, dey will be like "OMG WTF!! HOW THE HELL CAN WE WIN NOW! RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!" It needs 2 b said.

Ok my opinion, i've read the Wikipedia summery and it doesn't sound that band. Heres what I think,

Option 1: Maybe, depending if Katara is naive and stupid as always and takes Aang's kiss from DOBS the wrong way, again. Not really a deep dark secret, but definetly some Kataang moments coming up in TSR or EIP. Its an issue that can't go unresolved until Sozin's comet.
Option 2: Not a huge secret, nor dark and I can't see how its relevant to the plot.
Option 3: Despite everyones opinion on this thread, this is blown completly out of the water by this quote.

So there you have it, the Gaang already know why Aang hasnt mastered the Avatar State. Theres no need for him to reveal that to them. That topic is closed. Why do you think they went back to the original plan of mastering four elements in WAT?

Opinion 4: Combo of 1 and 3. See in that quote the reason he gave was not the right one. He didn't really say why he couldn't master it in the first place. What deep dark secret has Aang told no one, the real reason he couldn't master the Avatar state?
Because he couldn't give up his earthly attachment to Katara. Aang gave up all the cosmic energy in the universe in order to keep his love for her
Wow, how epic would that be if Aang actually revealed that to Katara? Can you imagine how that would make her feel. I think that the scene in which Katara breaks her and Aang's kiss (from NYCC trailer) is the scene where he tells her just that. What other reason do you think she could have pulled back (I can think of others, but neva mind) so suddenly? Imagine wat she would be thinking.

Anyways So Katara finds out that hidden secret. In the SAME episode she finds out what happned to her mother from Hakoda. Bryke did say it was going to be a tear jerker. Honoustly, I think this episode is going to be EPIC in terms of revelations.
