    It's not much, but it's Avatar news, am I right? Right now, I'll bet all of us here are just groping for what we have left of Avatar. But with the MMO coming up in our midst, things just couldn't get more exciting as we may come to more news on the Avatar world.

    But while we wait for the MMO that's coming about a little over a week from now, I have come to regal you fellow Avatards out there on something absolutely hilarious that I discovered.

    Have you ever heard about Sarah Palin, the nominated Vice President running mate for McCain? Well, I know you've heard about Avatar...

    Make sure you are on the episode for September 3rd and fast forward to a little past 17:50. You should come up with a segement called, "Nerding it up for Pierre". It's not an actual clip from the series, but how they mention it is pure gold. If you're an Avatard, you'll crack up.

    I am surprised no one has mentioned this yet. He effectively called Avatar a Japanese anime ; this could get ugly if the wrong people hear of it.

    Ok you got me. No I don't hate Sarah Palin. I dislike her for many reasons though. Personally I disagree with her policies/administrative history and I find her experience/education highly questionable. Aside from that, I don't think that Palin was the most qualified candidate available for McCain to choose. Romney, Thompson, and even Huckabee would've made better alternatives. And I'm sure they had many more on their shortlist. YOu're right, it's unfair and unhelpful to make statements about politicians like "I hate them". Hopefully I've clarified my position.

    I understood what you were conveying, but as a political science major the hypocrisy of the electorate is sometimes confounding. Also, I was not trying to pick on you. I simply wanted to stop this thread from becoming a flamebait, political thread.
