April Fools 2022 is the twelfth SBC April Fools prank. The main theme of this prank is that Thomas and Friends took over the site.
Pranks
- Engines 1-8 became staff for a day. (Thomas, Percy, and Gordon became Managers, James became a Cashier, and Toby and Henry became Reps; Edward and Duck] were also indirectly involved as Customers).
- The category names were changed. "Krusty Krab" became "Tidmouth Sheds", "Kelp Forest" became "Henry's Forest, "Atlantis" became "The Mainland" and "Bikini Bottom Arcade" became "Sodor Arcade".
- The group order was flipped. Customers and Loyal Customers are at the far left while Managers and Cashiers went to the far right.
- You need 250+ posts to access The Industrial Park.
- A welcome message reading "Welcome to a really useful community! - the engines (but Thomas gets special signature credit because he wanted to take full credit for this greeting)".
- The Discord chat features Thomas themed icons and bot names. The server was renamed from "SBC Chat" to "Thomas Chat" along with these changes:
- Karen => Sir topham hatt
- Perch Perkins => Sodor news
- KSBC => Skarloey
