The Official SpongeBob DVD Reviews Thread was a thread in the SpongeBob Discussion forum on SBC. On the first Friday of each month, a review of a SpongeBob DVD was posted, which was written to staff in advance. Users reviewed the DVD on its cover art, special features and episodes. The first review was posted on July 1st, 2011. Anyone who signed up to review received 300 doubloons and the special "Food Critic" rank. The first review had three reviewers, but the rest of them were one reviewer only. As of March 2012, the idea was discontinued due to lack of interest.
