SpongeCraft Operators

SpongeCraft Operators, also shortened to Operators or OPs, were a specialized group of members who moderated SpongeCraft and fixed and assisted with its technical features and issues. The group was disbanded on September 19th, 2019, following the discontinuation of SpongeCraft.

Users

Face became the first Operator on September 2nd, 2015. crushingmayhem also became one later that month, on the 26th. The third operator, sbl was added on July 6th, 2017. Face left his position after the Third SBC Renaissance on July 1st, 2018, and was replaced by OWM on the 6th.

Players who are selected to become an operator are usually technologically capable people who are also highly dedicated to the game and its inner workings.

Features Added

Operators have added many new upgrades and features to the server. The first notable update was Face's improved game client for V11 Starfish. Better mod integration, automatic updates and a redesign were also added. Face also introduced Simcraftia, Hide n' Seek, and vehicles to SpongeCraft.
