For the first time ever, a new currency was introduced for this event, which were Spin-Off Festival Tickets (aka SOF Tickets for short). A prize store was put up to spend the tickets on. Here is a list of what prizes were available:

Forums
For a limited time during the event, the Spin-Off/Lit games forum and user store forum were brought back as two exclusive forums, named "Glove Universe Rides" and "Glove Universe Market" respectively, two sub-forums under the Spin-Off Festival 5 forum. The two forums were removed in the past due to lack of activity, and were brought back only to fit the theme.

SpongeBob Jeopardy!
The 155th SpongeBob Jeopardy game, "Spin-Off Showdown 2" was a part of Spin-Off Festival 5. It was held on May 23rd, 2015, and Steel Sponge was the winner.
Spin-Off/Lit Trivia
A 6-round trivia contest in similar fashion to the Christmas Trivia. The first round was May 24th, 2015 and the last one was June 12th, 2015. The winner was Trophy, who won a Spin-Off Scholar badge, 1,000 SOF tickets, and a cotton candy colored username, however he chose to give the last prize to Fred Rechid, the runner-up.

Creation Glory
A story contest where users could post brand new ideas for spin-offs or lits (cannot be an already existing work). The judges were jjs, ClassicNickelodeonFan1 and Wumbology. The winner was Hayden's "The Legend of Kan" story, who won 1,000 doubloons and 500 SOF tickets.
The Spin-Off Contest
A mini-GCA's where users nominated and voted on works posted during the event in four categories - Best New Spin-Off, Best New Literature, Best Spin-Off Episode, and Best Literature Episode. The winners received 500 doubloons, 500 SOF tickets, and a GCA trophy. The winners were:

Ticket Hunts
Similar to the egg hunts in Spin-Off Festival 4, three hunts for SOF tickets were held on May 25th, 30th and June 6th respectively. The first three people to find all six tickets would receive 120 SOF tickets, but if others had found tickets and didn't make the top 3, they'd still get some. The top three winners of the first hunt were Fred Rechid, Trophy and Hayden. The top three winners of the second hunt were Fred, Halibut, and Trophy. Finally, the top three winners of the last hunt were Trophy, Fred and Hayden.
