Octerror Fest 2011 was the first Octerror Fest for the SpongeBob Community created by tvguy347. It started October 22nd, 2011, and concluded October 31st, 2011. The event idea was created by tvguy. After the site's sinking activity from the vBulletin switch, this event helped activity quite a bit, although not many events happened. Some new features were added along with the event, including a toolbar at the bottom of the forum, along with easier sharing for pictures.
Events
SpongeBob Jeopardy!
The 7th SpongeBob Jeopardy! game of Season 1, "Jeopardy Ghouls", hosted by jjsthekid, occurred October 22nd, 2011. It was a Halloween game for Octerror Fest 2011, and Steel Sponge won the game. This was the first time a SpongeBob Jeopardy game coincided with a forum event, along with Jeopardy's first holiday themed game.
SpongeBob Halloween Costume Contest
The SpongeBob Halloween Costume Contest was an art contest hosted by Jelly. It started October 11th, before Octerror Fest even began, and ended October 30th. Interested users had to make a drawing of a SpongeBob character wearing a Halloween costume, and Jelly would judge the winner. The first place winner would receive 500 doubloons, a drawing request by Jelly, and special banner/signature by Jelly. The 2nd place winner would receive 200 doubloons, and 3rd place would receive 150 doubloons. Unfortunately, nobody participated in the contest, so there was no winner.
Skins
Octerror Fest 2011
The only skin made for the event was the Octerror Fest 2011 skin. Not much footage of the skin exists, but some photos can be seen in the gallery below. The skin was crafted by tvguy and Spongygirl92. Spongygirl92 made most of the icons for the skin, including the banner.
