Nematodes are the group of banned SBC users. They are technically the lowest ranking group below Customers, as a ban results in no access to the site. Being suspended can also put you into this group depending on the circumstance. Banned members have a gray color and strike through their username. On October 3, 2015, the group was remade into "Nematodes" when the upgrade to V11 Starfish removed the previous banned group (although the banned members were still banned). The staff decided to make it an official group so members would not be confused by seeing banned members as normal members. They have their own badge as of November 1, 2016.

- A banned user group existed for a long time, but was never an official/public group until October 3, 2015. It was only seen by staff, and members could still see banned members' names.
- On Invision Power Board 3, members could not see banned members' profiles at all.

- During Freebooter Februarry 2016 and Freebooter Februarry 2020, they were called "Prisoners".
