Arctic Spongecraftia

Arctic Spongecraftia is a country in SpongeCraftia founded in autumn 2015. It was originally created by crushingmayhem as territory of Unknown Spongecraftia. It has seceded since then. Arctic Spongecraftia is one of the largest countries in SpongeCraft and boasts an ice lake, the highest mountain on the entire map (Mount Spongecraftia), several villages, and a small taiga located at the borders. Arctic Spongecraftia also features a large gingerbread house, or winter lodge outside the Village of Winter and served as the official home of SpongeCraft events for the Snowcember Ball 2015, Snowcember Ball 2016 and Snowcember Ball 2017.

Since March 11th, 2018, all of Artic Spongecraftia is constantly snowing, becoming the second country to do so.

Landmarks

Fort Squidward- Squidward's snow fort, similar to the one in Soviet SpongeCraftia.

Ice Lake- A large, fenced-off ice lake located at the base of Mount Spongecraftia.

Mount Spongecraftia- The tallest mountain on the entire server, at 104 blocks tall.

Note Block Song- A structure that plays "Carol of the Bells" whenever a minecart is ridden on it. Currently not functional.

Taiga- A large taiga (spruce forest) located at the border.

Cities & Towns

Blizzard Town- Home to several sled dogs and racing horses.

Permafrost Point- The coldest village in the country.

Santa Village- Home to Santa, his workshop, and his elves.

Village of Winter- The first village to be discovered. Home to the Winter Lodge and a Snowcember Ball 2015 building contest.

Former Attractions

Arctic Mills- A mall built in the area by ZaidCatDog in 2017. After Zaid's ban from SBC, it was demolished in December 2018 to make room for possible future development.
