Arctic Mills, formerly known as the Village of Winter Mall, was a mall and plaza in Arctic Spongecraftia built in 2017 by ZaidCatDog. During its relatively short operation, it was considered to be the flagship of Zaid's various SpongeCraft businesses, being his primary project until his ban from SBC in December 2018.
Upon Zaid's ban, Arctic Mills remained technically open as SC operators planned to demolish the complex to make room for other development. It was permanently closed on December 19th, 2018, after a premature demolition by HawkbitAlpha destroyed much of its central and western wings. Shortly after, the damage was hastily repaired, and all of the mall's lights were turned off, leaving the complex in a blackout. Three days later, on the 22nd, Arctic Mills was removed entirely in a controlled demolition carried out by sbl, OWM, and Hawkbit. The track-side Arctic Mills plaza sign, the only remaining piece to be untouched by the demolition, was left standing to trail the complex's legacy.
The land on which Arctic Mills once stood was expected to be the site of future development, though no plans were ever brought forward.
