The hit game from Octerror Fest 2017 returned again, this time with a holiday theme. The Snowcember Ball 2017 is the sixth annual Christmas/holidays event on SBC, and fourth one to use the name Snowcember Ball. It started December 8, 2017 and ended December 29, 2017. It contained a teams tournament between the Band Geeks (Nutcrackers), Drasticals (Dwarves), and Independent users (Snowmen). In the end, the Band Geeks won.
Snowcember Cup Scoreboard
The Drasticals automatically received one point due to their win at Octerror Fest 2017. Below was the final scoreboard after the last event on December 29th, 2017:

General
During the event, the group names changed to general Christmas/SpongeBob Christmas related names. Cashiers, Loyal Customers and Customers became green, dark blue and ice blue instead of blue, light green and teal, like the past two years.

SpongeCraft got a holiday decoration pack which turned everything on the server into a winter/Christmas theme.

Events
Stop What You Are Doing
The 21st edition of SWYAD is being held where users changed their names to something holiday/Christmas related. Sign-ups were posted on December 1st, 2017 and users could reserve their name for a week. Users had their names automatically changed to their reserved names at midnight on December 8th, 2017. Like the past two years, a bar shows the user's original name under their badges.
SpongeBob Wheel of Fortune
Three games counted for the Snowcember Cup during the event. The first game, "Worst Presents Ever" on December 8th, 2017, was a Terrible Presents themed game which Fred Rechid won for the Band Geeks. The second game, "Frosty Wheels" on December 15th, 2017, was a Mixed Christmas themed game which Cream won for the Drasticals. The third and last game, "A Merry Wheelmas!" on December 22nd, 2017, was a Christmas Music themed game which Homie won for the Drasticals.

Three games counted for the Snowcember Cup during the event. The first game, "Chan the Jolly Snowman" on December 9th, 2017, was a Mixed Christmas themed game which Homie won for the Drasticals. The second game, "SOF's Christmas Jeopardy" on December 16th, 2017, was a Christmas TV Specials, Movies & Episodes themed game which Hayden won for the Drasticals. The third and last game, "We Wish You A Merry Jepmas!" on December 23rd, 2017, was an SBC Christmas game which Trophy won for the Band Geeks.

SBC Christmas Trivia Contest 2017
The sixth annual Christmas Trivia Contest was held, hosted by jjs. There were a total of 10 rounds, with the first one being December 10th and last two on December 21st. Trophy was the overall winner, receiving a point for the Band Geeks and a platinum colored username.

Krampus!
"Krampus!" was a new roleplaying game that worked similar to Hooky. Eight users signed up. One user was secretly Krampus, who kidnapped users. The top two (later became top one after round 3) to get immunity would be safe, and then Krampus would kidnap someone, eliminating them. The identity of Krampus turned out to be Hayden, who was defeated by Trophy. Trophy won, receiving 5,000 doubloons, a point for the Band Geeks, and a Krampus badge.

SBC Secret Santa Program 2017
The Secret Santa Program returned again, hosted by Cream this time. The event allowed users to get gifts for other users secretly, with identities of the gift givers being revealed after the gifts have been given out. Sign-ups went from December 8th to December 17th. The gifts were given out December 23rd, and the identities of the Secret Santas were revealed.
Patrick's Christmas Party
Another iFish contest. Users had to submit a Christmas themed fish for Patrick's Christmas Party, and whoever had the best would be judged by the moderators (crushingmayhem, Fred Rechid & Metal Snake). The winner was Trophy's fish, who received a point for the Band Geeks, 1,500 doubloons, and a half off a store item of choice
Snowcember Story Contest
The Snowcember Ball Story Contest called for users to submit a holiday writing. Unlike past years, it did not have to be SpongeBob related. Users could use an existing spin-off, or create a completely separate entry. Creations also had to be at least 500 words. The deadline to submit an entry was December 27th, and Jackie Chan decided the winner. The winning story was "The DS Guy Saves Christmas" by Trophy, who received a point for the Band Geeks, 2,000 doubloons, Santa Hat (2012) & Santa Suit, and a GCA style trophy.
Present Hunt
Another scavenger hunt hosted by Metal Snake. Just like the past two years, users had to find seven presents belonging to SpongeBob characters around the forum. Whoever found them would receive a point for their side, 500 doubloons, and an exclusive Holiday Gang icon to display in your store items.

A holiday themed CAH game was held on December 27th, 2017. Trophy won it for the Band Geeks, and he received 1,000 doubloons.
Minigames
During the event, there are exclusive mini-game topics in the Snowcember Ball forum, similar to games from past events. However, for the first time ever, you could gain team points from minigames, albeit the chances were very slim to be fair. After 3 were obtained in each, they were replaced with 2,000 Doubloons.
Snowball Throw
Users had to throw a snowball at a target, and their outcome would be randomly generated. They can gain the following prizes: Red (2,000 Doubloons/a point for their side, extremely rare), Gold (Snowman Costume (2012)), Silver (Elf Ears), Green (250 Doubloons), or White (Nothing).
Iceberg Hop
Users had to hop across icebergs, and their outcome would be randomly generated. They can gain the following prizes: Five (2,000 Doubloons/a point for their side, extremely rare), Four (Elf Costume), Three (Elf Hat), Two (250 Doubloons), One (50 Doubloons), or Zero (Nothing).
Store
Seven new iFish items were created by Cream, and many old items from Christmas 2012, Snowcember Ball 2015, and Snowcember Ball 2016 returned. Here is a list of what's available:
