'''Freebooter Februarry 2020''' was a forum event, the first of the 2020s, which began February 14, [[2020]] and concluded February 29, 2020. It was a pirate themed event and sequel to the original [[Freebooter Februarry]] from 2016, making this the first time a previous one-off event returns. 

==General==
During the event, the group names changed to pirate related names.

[[Loyal Customers]] --> Mateys

[[Customers]] --> Pirates

In addition, they also got exclusive pirate badges, which can be found in the gallery below. 

The forum category names were changed:

==Events==

===Stop What You Are Doing: Pirate Edition===
The 30th SWYAD was held during the event. The theme was to change your username to something pirate themed.

===SpongeBob Wheel of Fortune===
Two games this month counted for the event. The first one, "We're Gonna Be Pirates!" on February 21st, 2020, was a SpongeBob pirate episode themed game, won by [[Mythix]]. The second one, "Pirates of the Wheelabbean" on February 28th, 2020, was a Pirates of the Caribbean themed game, won by Mythix.

===SBC Music Parties===
Three music parties were held on Fridays (February 14th, 21st and 28th) during the event at 8pm EST. In keeping with the new format set up from Snowcember Ball 2019, the music parties no longer are events to "win" and are just fun free for alls.

===SpongeBob Pictionary===
Two games this month counted for the event. The first one, "Weast?", on February 15th, 2020, was a SpongeBob pirate episode themed game, won by [[DarknessDG]]. The second and last one, "Hoist the Colours", on February 22nd, 2020, was a general pirate themed game, won by [[Salmon]].

===Dunces & Dragons===
Two games this month counted for the event. The first one, "Arrgh!", on February 16th, 2020, was a story game won by [[dmandaman]] and [[Hayden]]. The second one, "Naval Battle", on February 23rd, 2020, was a conquest game won by Mythix.

===Treasure Hunters===
A roleplaying game, where users hunted for treasure each night and whoever was last would be eliminated. The game lasted for three rounds, from February 17th to 19th, 2020. The overall winner in the end was Salmon, who received 882 doubloons and the Treasure Hunter badge.

===Movie Night: Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl===
A movie screening for the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie was held February 22nd, 2020 at 8pm EST on OWM's cytube.

===iFish Contest===
Another iFish contest. Users had to submit a pirate themed fish, and whoever had the best would be voted on by Patty, Cha and OWM. The winner was [[SpongeOddFan|SOF's]] fish, who received 1,000 doubloons.

==Minigames==
===Treasure Dig===
Users would dig for treasure, which they could do every 24 hours. The outcomes would be one of the following: nothing, 50 doubloons, 100 doubloons, 200 doubloons, 300 doubloons, 400 doubloons, 500 doubloons, a pirate iFish item, or the Pirate SpongeBob collectable.

===Pirate Duel===
Users would duel another in a sword fight once every 24 hours, and the winner would be randomly determined. The winner would receive 100 doubloons

==Store==
26 iFish items were added to the store during the event. 5 of them were new, created by Patty Sponge. The rest were returning items from the original Freebooter Februarry, along with one item (Treasure Chest) from the Mr. Krabs months in 2019. '''Bold indicates new'''.
