TELETOON
i wouldnt.
even though its a competition. you gotta keep youself entertained by listening to your friend talking about time travel and virtual worlds and world domination. xD
Not in the beginning, unless they REALLY cost the team. In the last few, yeah, I'm in this to win then, teamwork isn't important at the last stages.
Don't attribute a centuries old saying to Heather, it's not quite known who said that first, but yeah I must agree at least in competition "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer."
Then again, another saying "Familiarity breeds contempt." so maybe I would.
It would depend on the situation. If it after the merge, or the vote before the merge, I would vote them off if they seemed like too much of a threat, then promise to share some of the money if I won. If they make the team lose over and over, to the point where not many people are left, I would also vote them off.
I know that if my best friend betrayed me, I wouldn't see it coming. I'd probably end up becoming paranoid with all the drama and vote them off anyways. I'd try to soften the blow, of course, and tell them that they'll be voted off before the campfire. The advantage of having friends get voted off is that they'll help you in the final challenge. The disadvantage is that they couldn't be in an alliance with you if they're gone, but then again, they also wouldn't be able to betray you.
Maybe I'm sounding so weird because me and by best friend both understand the 'eat or be eaten' philosophy. She'd very easily vote me off, if it meant winning the game. We also wouldn't blame one another if we had to betray.
I wouldn't at first, because theyed be useful for challenges. but once it would get close to half way point, I'd try to get them voted off because:
1. they are very threatening to my chances of winning.
2. they are very annoying, I feel like in going to tear my hair out after an hour with them.
