ive been thinking on this ever since the last new episode aired anyways the Gaffers won 8 challenges, and the Grips 1 when Gwen threw that challenge for them in episode 7, will the grips keep losing or will theyre luck change when Courtney returns, i personally think the killer grips luck will change alot when Courtney gets back and maybe they will start wining more challenges anyways discuss this whole topic here

I honestly think, no they won't. Their group is easily the weaker group, and Country coming may only bring conflict into whose the elader. Lindsay or Courtney.

They might get lucky and win 1, or 2 challenges max (only 1 elimination challenge) when Courtney returns, but I can only see them getting lucky and winning a challenge at the last second. That, or if Duncan throws the challenge for them (to make sure Courtney stays in the game until after the merge). The gaffers are just way better then the grips when it comes to these types of challenges, in my opinion.

    According to the lamne-o game

    *EXTREME SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

In Ocean's Eight or Nine Owen gets voted of
    Then Heather goes
    and then LeShawna
So I think they will win,
It is also that the teams merge the next episode court comes in.

Yes, I know. That's why I said they might win, because we don't know 100% when the merge is going to happen, right away after Courtney returns, or those few eliminations later. We'll just have to wait and see, unless teletoon has spoiled when the merge happens and I havn't heard about it yet, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't.

It's a big maybe to me. I have to say that the Grips are just terrible. The only challenge they won was when Gwen sabotaged her team to make them win. In the other challeges I've seen, the grips just continue to lose. They even were desperate for a leader and had to pick Lindsay whom I think is a great leader but it doesn't seem that she's bringing her team wins. Courtney definietly should help the Grips seeing how great a leader she is. But still I think this team still needs help. Grips really need a change if any of the compeditors in that team want to be in the finals!

They COULD win another challenge without Courtney, but somehow, since Courtney comes back next, they can't, unless Courtney leaves fast. And Wikipedia says Cody comes back after suing them for his bear attack (since, as hinted in Monster Cash) is an intern, basically, and that's it in a nutshell. I don't believe that, but I hope It's true.

Let's put it this way: Duncan must remain in the game, because Courtney is showing up. This will get him involved in a new plotline. Then there are Harold, Heather, and LeShawna. It's a disaster waiting to happen, with tons of opportunities to bring up drama. Are Heather and Harold 'together'? What does LeShawna think about her ex-boyfriend hanging around her mortal enemy? Is Heather really just hurt on the inside, and can Harold show everyone? Is LeShawna and Heather's conflict going to hurt Harold in some way? And so on. Unless this gets COMPLETELY resolved in the next episode, none of the Gaffers can get voted off without wasting plot fodder, which, looking back on season one, the writers don't like to do.

Which leaves choices on the Grips to get voted out. Courtney can't be gone after one episode, she's involved with Duncan and whatever plotline that comes out of it. Justin can still cause some damage as a villain, so he's probably safe too. Beth is being controlled by Justin (for the meantime) and is also unavailable for elimination.

The only two left are Lindsay and Owen. There are valid options for either to get kicked out. Lindsay could try being too bossy when Courtney shows up. The new arrival is instantly fed up with this and usurps her. Or, Owen's broken jaw and intestinal problems annoy the Grips and maybe cause them to lose the challenge. Then he's gone.

But, I wouldn't trust the Lame-O-Game. It says that Geoff comes back without Bridgette. Seriously, between making out and TDA Aftermath, there is no way you could get those two apart. Plus, the website has been known to get glitchy.

The lameo-game never said geoff was back with bridgette.
The lameo-game said that gwen would be voted off and that izzy comes back.
no one believed it but it was true.
plz read the old discussion on it.
www.tv.com/total-drama-island/show/74640/i-have-proof-that-xxxx-is-the-next-one-gone!/topic/87526-1242341/msgs.html it also said DJ would be the next to go.
When I told everyone that DJ would be the next to go everyone doubted me cuz of the alliance.
Then I told everyone that Izzy would be voted off next and they doubted cuz she just came back.
It is ALSO possible that the grips win in Ocean's Eight or Nine and Owen leaves cuz everyone he goes insane (as seen in the previews)
or wither that or owen's insanity cost the team the game.

They might win once more, but I really get the feeling that the writers stacked the teams to put all the good characters on the Gaffers. It's like the finale of Justice League Unlimited, when the villains split between Gorilla Grodd and Lex Luthor; the interesting villains backed Luthor, and look who won.

Wasn't that sort of the point?....Gwen chose everyone on the Gaffers, and did so for their skills. Harold was also forced onto their team, though no one knew how much a help he would be in challenges. Meanwhile, Trent was picking all the 'good looking' people. He was forced to put Beth on his team, to avoid getting Izzy or Heather, but Izzy got stuck on his team anyways. It was kind of the point, that Trent had a really, really bad team put together.

    1 win
    8 lose

Notes-Lindsay and Beth should of been the ones in double elimination

Actually, after this recent episode, I can see the Grips winning the next invincibility challenge.

First of all, now, they have Courtney on their team. She would NOT let them lose unless it was completely unpreventable. Hey, she's obsessed with the competition.

Secondly, in a more plot-based perspective, the Screaming Gaffers have become rather...explosive. All four of them are involved in one gigantic super-conflict, and by the looks of things, it's bound to blow up very soon. Someone's going to go a little to far, people get hurt, a very dramatic Gilded Chris ceremony...the whole drill.

Although, at this point, any one of the Gaffers could go home next. Duncan, for giving Harold too rough of a time; LeShawna, either for treating Heather unfairly or for her actions in "One Flu Over the Cuckoos"; Heather, because no one likes her; or Harold, for other plot reasons. Although, I have to admit, Duncan and Harold are probably the safest at this point. Duncan's conflict/romance with Courtney has not been played with enough. Harold is the centerpiece of the majority of the Gaffer conflict, so if he goes, what's left to cause drama?

It's true. With Courtney's return alongside with Justin still being safe, I have a hunch that the Grips will catch up. It sounds like Courtney has become more mischevious and therefore has also come more prepared for this season, with her sewing the show and filing a lawsuit against her getting eliminated. Based on Duncan's reaction, he truly looks like he's afraid of Courtney and is unable to hide the fact that she's after him this time. So I agree that Duncan and Harold are both safe. But let's look at The Grips. Sure, they're a lousy team compared to The Gaffers but let's not forget that they have useful assets behind them so it's not really safe to completely ride them off. Justin and Courtney look like their safe because of Courtney's lawsuit and Justin's new antagonist character. That just leaves Beth and Lindsay. I just don't see Beth going home or being eliminated at all. She's just too much of the underdog to be eliminated. I know that Justin has it in for her, so I'm not completely onboard with her victory, but you got to wonder about the meaning behind her new life without the braces. It might be just trying to tell us something... That just leaves Lindsay. Okay, she's a good leader. She's a good leader and she's learned for this season that you can't put a good gift to waste, so we can't underestimate her unexpected uncanny ability. But we got to read between the line and I've been doing a lot of thinking on this too. Everyone's got a pretty reasonable motive to stay in the game. Lindsay does, too but I think compared to the others, it's not enough. She has talent but it has cost her team a couple of times, so you got to wonder about that. Beth could be going home, too, but like I'm sticking to the braces theory.

So with that being said; my take on the elimination is this:

    Leshawna

    Heather

    Lindsay

    Harold

That just leaves Duncan, Beth, Courtney and Justin

    Justin

    Duncan

    Courtney

    Beth

This is my take not counting anymore possible surprises, like any future reoccurences of anymore campers. Did I miss anyone? If I have, please let me know, so I could squeeze them somewhere-preferably their rightful spot. It's either Justin or Duncan following Harold, but I'm not sure.
