I want anyone that didn't deserve to be voted off to win.

Not fully known, they could be lazy.

I'd have rather seen Duncan, Cody, Noah, DJ, etc, someone other than the Top 2 win...

No, there's a blog post about season two that makes it seem likely that they WILL have a different ending in the U.S.

"We want our American viewers to see the end of Total Drama Island without any spoilers."

    and then Thorny says

"'does this mean the rumours of gwen winning in the US are true?'

    You'll see ;-)"

After seeing the finale online, I think that it would be too much work to redo anything but the last episode. They just animate the CN online winner and cut some scenes that help Owen win and animate Gwen winning and the final campfire and that'd be rather easy. That would take about 4-7 months via flash so that would explain the delay for CN.

It is unlikly, but still possible. Two episodes left and the question on if they still bring back Izzy and Eva will be answered. I would like Noah to come back. And I agree with Nejishikamaru's choices.

Gwen making it to the final 2 is a spoiler though, wouldn't that mean they will be trying to make the final 2 completely diffrenert? Hm...one wonders.

Anywho, I really don't care who wins as long as it isn't Heather. I don't mind Heather, but having somebody who played the competition the wrong way throughout the whole game is unsanitary.

Well, Izzy NEEDS to come back, but someone, other than Eva should come back! Like Justin, he got voted off unfairly in that talent show episode!

I don't think you're making the labor-to-air connection. It would not be possible to change more than 2 episodes in 10 months. If it takes homestarrunner.com 1 week between updates, usually 3-5 minutes long, then it would take 8-10 weeks to make a thirty minute show. They just didn't have the time to do all that work, put the episodes (too much) through S&P, make sure it would be profitable, advertise the show and get it on air. Just wouldn't be worth their time to change anything other than the last episode. I'm about 87.5% sure that Gwen will win in the US. But we're going to have to wait until Thanksgiving, until then you can't say yes or no without any doubt. I say yes, but with a little doubt.

I know that it is very unlikly. I just like the idea that all the episodes after brunch of disgustiveness would be different. I'm not saying they definatly will, I'm just hoping they will, I don't even think they will.

Here's what I think. There are two episodes where they can have major edits that don;t affect the main storyline.

The firs is the one when Eva and Izzy come back. Instead of having Eva come back, they bring back somebody else who is still voted off at the end of the episode.

The second is the finale where I hope Gwen does win.

The other thing that is being overlooked is that they may have these edited episodes already made for such an occaision. Like they knew this would happen. You're acting like the US didn't like the original ending and demanded for a different one.

If there's going to be editing of the show that really effects the plot, besides the finale, it's going to happen tonight out of censoring reasons only. I don't know how they'll handle the situation, but from the previews, it looks like Harold still crashes.

Yeah, the trailer shows him doing the body arch in the mud so in about 3 hours we'll find out. Well, what if some kid looked on Wikipedia for info about TDI, they'd know who won and tell everyone, so they pretty much HAD to change it or nobody would bother to watch.
