So I don't know if you heard about this but I heard mumblings that Teletoon will work with Turner Broadcasting to make a TV movie about TDI.

It will be a live action movie that will air on both channels simultaneously in 2009.

I was wondering what celebrities look like the characters. Age is not a factor

And this is in NO WAY a ripoff of when Conan O'Brien does the TV movies on NBC skits.

I would say that Chef should probably be Samuel L. Jackson. Any other ideas.

I'm pretty sure that isn't going to happen- there is, however, going to be a hour-long special airing sometime..... this fall, I believe? anyway, I don't thing they would do both the special AND that. look here: www.totaldramaisland.blogspot.com for details about the special, but again, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't do that.

Since no one here gets the concept of sarcasm I will explain this like I would to a 7 year old.

I said the opposite of what I meant to make a funny point. Conan does these things all the time. Usually he goes for comedic matchups.

    Get it? OK. Good.

TDI is in no way meant to be live action.

If this is for real, they're insane.

Does noone get that you are supposed to name celebrities that look like the campers regardless of their age?

Live action? Doesn't that kind of, you know, kill the whole point of the show making fun of shows like realistic survivor games? o__o

I don't like the idea, nontheless I will still watch it even if it would be a hell lot better cartoon style.

I think they might make it, but I doubt it would be live action.

Apparently, people here just don't get my attempt at humour. The next 2 posters need to understand, this is a way of saying what celebrities seem like the characters. They aren't REALLY doing this, I just used that as the setup for comedy. TO CLARIFY: POST A CELEBRITY THAT REMINDS YOU OF A CHARACTER ON THE SHOW, THIS IS NOT REALLY GOING TO BE MADE! AGE DOES NOT MATTER!

Gwen: Ellen Page (with makeup, yes)

Survivor host, you mean Jeff Probst. Yeah, maybe.

Chris: Justin Long (aka Mac from I'm a Mac and I'm a PC ads) maybe Seth Rogen.

Cody: William H. Macy (a nerd who's sort of cool)

Tyler: Steve Carell (in all Nike stuff of course)

    DJ: Forest Whitaker???

    Noah: Neil Diamond

This is a stretch, but; Trent: Fred Ewanuick (Hank from Corner Gas, another Canadian show thereby filling CANCON requirements.)

Owen: Frank Caliendo (John Madden/ GWB impersonator off MadTV)

In response to Ashley Tisdale as Bridgette, she's similar but not the best match. I doubt she would nose whistle

Yeah, but you should let your imagination run wild here, this isn't real, nor will it ever be. Just think of something.

We still need Harold, Courtney, Duncan, Ezekiel, Katie, Sadie, Heather to name a few.

Heather: Any alpha-female at any high school. You know who I'm talking about, the one who's hot but has a superiority complex. The one who makes good jail bait then people run off on because she's so naggy!
