Sorry if I threw you off Brendan. To be honest though, I would have won anyway if I stuck with Zoey and you stuck with Mike. It still would have been Michelle - 40, Brendan - 38.
Canon is basically anything that happens in the actual show (as opposed to fanon, which is stuff people make up for fanfiction or fan pairings etc.)
I believe when we say Zoey is the "canon" winner it means that she's who the producers/writers had in mind to win the show but that they come up with an alternate ending with Mike winning so that viewers can vote for the winner instead. (of course, because of that, I guess you can argue that there really isn't a canon winner, that they plan for both)
