By my calculations (LOTS of calculus and quantum physics) TDI will end on Cartoon Network on November 27. That's Thanksgiving in the US. Knowing how popular this is, I have a feeling that there will be an all day marathon of TDI leading up to 9 eastern for the finale. Since there are 26 episodes and they might not air the recap episode in marathons, there will be either 13 or 12.5 hours so they could start at 7:30 eastern or push the finale to air at 10:30 like the repeat usually does. Then the marathon would start at 9:30 or 10 eastern which works better for viewers in the Central and Mountain time zones.

Anyway, do you think CN will do this marathon idea or do something else for Thanksgiving?

If the show keeps getting good ratings I can see them doing a marathon. What would be the icing on the cake if they also aired the hour special. I doubt that though

I would like to see a season recap either in one day, or broken up into two days. I never did see the first couple episodes, anyway.

The marathon sounds like a good idea! It can recap all of the things that happened since TDI started and best of all, it can bring new fans to the show. So that anyone new who watches the marathon can be a fan of it in one day. It's sounds great and I hope CN will do it!

Considering how this is doing in the ratings and considering once you've watched football and eaten dinner, what else are you gonna do on Thanksgiving, it seems likely.

It is extremely likely for Cartoon Network to have a marathon for Total Drama Island before the finale seeing as they already had two marathons for TDI if I am not mistaken.
