Well, the 1st episode of this in between the contest special was aired this past Sunday & I gotta tell ya. I wasnt impressed. Bridgette & Geoff host the thing & yes all the season 1 cast is there, but they dont do anything special. All that was interesting was Courtney being there & we see that she will get back at Duncan someway or another for hanging w Gwen. Izzy was still psycho, but Trent was back to normal, explaining his obsession with the 9. They put in a cheesy live studio audience sound effects that annoyed me. & we even get a hint at Chef Hatchet not being straight. yeesh. musta served jail time. all in all, i hope they keep these specials 2 a minimum. Id rather see non elim challenge shows then this weak stuff. Anyways post your thoughts.

I thought it was a pretty good episode, theres nothing else you really could do with a talk show segment, unless they intertwined it with an elimination episode (split screen, half the challenge, half someone giving commentary) or another After the Dock of Shame, but that'd get dull after a while

Yeah, I thought it was a good episode, but not nearly as good as After the dock of shame. I was dissapointed that it was so centered around Izzy, Trent, Geoff, and Bridgette. The non-participating characters barely talked or voiced their opinions at all. Hopefully the season will start getting better after this episode, because I've been a little disapointed with this season so far. I'd just rather they do less non-elimination episodes, and return some more characters.

Is just one sarcastic comment from Noah too much to ask for? Too many clips from past episodes IMO, and too much time was given to Eva, ha ha ha, she's always angry, I didn't find it that funny.

But I did like that Cody kept Gwen's bra.

I liked The Aftermath, thought it was funny and it introduced a couple of new weird things that made me fall on the floor laughing (i.e. Chris and Chef's relationship may be a bit more *brokeback* than we realized!!!)

I don't know. I thought it was cheesy and forced but I still enjoyed it and I mean, it is a filler episode, but I mean, it was still fun. It can be appreciated as a kind of "promotion" for Total Drama Action. And Chef and Chris...yeah....sounds a little dysfunctional. I mean, employer/employee relations and what with Chris not paying Chef and all...wow. Guess Chef got paid after all. Haha. Although, the sasquatch suit...yeah...kinda weird. And what is with Courtney? She's more psycho than Eva!!!

I thought it was great, I actually hope for more of this "show inside the show" thing, I did find it funny as hell, specially when Izzy took over and when Trent found out about Gwen making him get the boot, as for the others characters I guess the writers have to leave something for the next installments, the "Yeti" webcam scene was hilarious as hell... I actually enjoyed this one more than the "After the Dock" episode.

    But that is just me...

This episode was Really funny. I thought Geoff and Bridgette stopped kissing after they got eliminated, and they did, but they were back to it. LOL THEY EVEN KISSED LIKE 5 HOURS AFTER THE AFTERMATH ENDED! Also I really liked Izzy here! She's so freakin funny! That's why she's my #1 in TDA! And I now feel bad for Trent because of Geoff blabbing out that the whole team voted him off because of Gwen's suggestion. He was crying too. And I was glad to see everyone again, especially Noah, Cody and Courtney! I have to say it was a bookmark moment when we see Cody still has that special's someone special item (sorry can't say it due to spoilers). Katie and Sadie are now Trent Fans. I believe that from this episode, Gwen's chances of winning is slimming and I think she's on a threat to be out soon. Hopefully it won't happen. It was a great episode. Can't wait for the next TDA aftermath!

Just wondering about Trent, did he forgive Gwen after or was/is he still mad?

The thing about reality shows though is that you never know who's going to be out next. With Gwen selling out Trent, her chances of winning seem to be slimming now, but I have a feeling that she will make a comeback. I mean, remember when everybody kept saying that Owen was going to leave Total Drama Island and he ended up winning the whole contest? I mean, I could be wrong, but a lot of times when a contestant on a show is seemingly in trouble, they come back with an unbelievable winning streak, like Heather being only a smidge away from getting voted off and then get an invinsibility pass. Maybe that's not what happens in any reality show per se- sometimes it happens- but I think that's Total Drama Island's/Action's style; getting an individual in trouble in the first moment, getting themselves out in the next.

Wow, I still can't believe that Trent cried. That sounds like a shocker. Now I really feel bad for him.

Yeah, but what was the deal with Bridgette responds of how could Geoff say that after all the things Heather did to her in first season? Heather didn't really do anything that bad to her. She did accuse Bridgette of identional sabotaging Courtney in Not Quite Famous, and treaten her in Brunch Of Disgustingness, but really she didn't do anything horrible to Bridgette. I don't get why she said that, she got off light compared to people like Gwen and Beth.

Agreed. Bridgette and Heather really didn't confront each other much. I suspect that Heather probably figured out that Bridgette was too nice of a person to be a serious threat, and that of the female campers Courtney, Gwen, and Leshawna would be the biggest threats.
