    Misirlou by Dick Dale.

That's too fast for her. That is a FAST song.

When I said Walk Don't Run, it's not so hectic and overall reminds me of a wave and the beach. Just takes it slow and easy.

Since we're on surf songs for Bridgette: Pipeline by the Ventures

A way I see Cody (later in life) is: Gonna Make You Happy Tonight by Tripod.

"Soy un perdedor, I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?" That's overt. Why do you want Harold dead so badly?

And I see the "Hey hey you you I don't like your girlfriend. I think you need a new one." discussion.

I never said I wanted Harold dead--Harold's attitude towards Duncan and such reminds me a bit of Beck's voice and his song--he loved, he lost and he saw boobies too you know!!!

Here are some of the campers and songs that remind me about them. Ezekiel: "Nowhere Man" by The Beatles. / "He's a real Nowhere Man sitting in his Nowhere Land, making all his Nowhere Plans for Nobody. Doesn't Have a point of view, noes not where he's going to. He's as blind as he can be, just sees what he wants to see. Nowhere Man, can you see me at all?" I chose this since Ezekiel has such little screen-time and only saw what he wanted to see about women.

Eva: "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. / "I don't give a d*** about my Bad Reputation. Quit living in the past, its a new generation. A girl can do what she wants to do, and that's what I'm going to do, and I don't give a d*** about my Bad Reputation. Oh no, no, no, not me, me, me, me, not me, me, me, me, me, me, me, NOT ME!" I chose this because Eva is probably the only woman who had more capacity for being evil then Heather, because she had something Heather didn't: muscles!

Noah: "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones. / "I can't get no Satisfaction, I can't get no Satisfaction, cause I try, and I try, and I try, and I try. I can't get no, I can't get no, when I'm driving in my car, and a man comes on the radio, he's telling me about the war and that's some useless information supposed to drive my imagination. I can't get no, oh no, no, no! Hey, hey, hey, that's what I say. I can't get no, I can't get no, I can't get no, no Satisfaction. No Satisfaction, no Satisfaction! No Satisfaction, I can't get no!" / I chose this because Noah (at least in his mind) no matter what he did, it never satisfied the Screaming Gophers, and Noah probably thinks that if something doesn't involve him and knowledge, its useless information."

Justin: "Hot, Hot Hot" by Buster Poindexter. / I don't know the exact lyrics to this song, but trust me when I say that Justin would DEFINITELY think that this song applies specifically to him! Katie and Sadie: "We're Always Be Together" by the "Grease" Castmembers. / "We go together like whop-bop-a-luau-a-wop-bam-boom, remembered forever like sho-bop-a-doo-a-woo-op-a-woopity doo. Chang-chang, changity-changi-bop, that's the way it should be, whoo, yeah! Our names our signed rama-lama-doo-wa, a shoop-de-doo, up in the sky is, a boogy-woogy-oogy ditty, a ding-a-ding-ding doo-wop. Chang-chang, changity-changi-bop, we'll always be like one. One, one, one, wow! When we go out at night, up when the stars are bright, up in the sky above; or at the high school dance, where you can find romance. Maybe it might be lo-love, a love, love, love! We'll always be together, whoo, yeah! We'll always be together..." (Repeats several times.) / I chose this song because no matter what may happen to Katie and Sadie, they always find a way to come back together again, and it seems like they'll always be together whatever what might happen in their lives."

Tyler: "I Can't Dance" by Phil Collins & Genesis. / "I Can't Dance, I can't talk. Only thing about me is the I walk. I can't dance, I can't sing. All I'm doing is just selling and check if everything is in place, you never know who is looking on." / I chose this song because although Tyler looks like an athlete, he certainly can't perform like one, so this song fits his persona perfectly! / Izzy: "Crazy" by Seal. / "When your challenged by the face, it doesn't matter because we're going under. Oh the child loves. A man decides after 70 years, that's what they go there for is to unlock the door. And make illusions sights and see. I throw down upon the breaking wall, I see you my friend, and touch your face again. Miracles will happen as we sleep. But we're never going to survive unless we get a little crazy. No we're never going to survive unless we get little...Crazy are the people walking in my head. One of them's got a gun to shoot the other one. And yet together they were friends at school. Baby, baby, oh-oh oh! If I were there when they first took the pill, then maybe, then maybe, then maybe, then maybe. Miracles will happen as we dream. But we're never going to survive unless we get a little Crazy. No we're never going to survive unless we get a little Crazy. No, no, never survive unless we get a little bit...oh, oh. Oh darling, in a sky full of people only some want to fly, isn't that Crazy? In a world full of people, only some want to fly. Isn't that Crazy? Crazy, in a heaven full of people, only some want to fly, isn't that Crazy? Oh baby, oh darling. In a world full of people only some want to fly, isn't that Crazy? And I'm Crazy, and I'm Crazy, oh, but we're never going to survive unless we get a little Crazy. No we're never going to survive unless we get a little Crazy." / I chose this song to explain why Izzy chooses to be as crazy as she is every single day of her life.

Cody: "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye (Regarding Gwen.) / "I bet you wondered how I knew about your plans to make me blue with some other guy that you knew before. Between the two of us guys, I love you more. It took me by surprise I must say, when I found out yesterday. Don't you know that I Heard It Through the Grapevine? Not much longer will you be mine. Ooh, I Heard It Through the Grapevine and I'm just about to lose my mind. Honey, honey, yeah. Now I know that a man ain't supposed to cry but these tears I can't hold inside. Losing you would end my life you see because you mean that much to me. You could've told me yourself that you loved someone else. Instead I Heard It Through the Grapevine. Not much longer will you be mine. Because I Heard It Through the Grapevine and I'm just about to lose my mind. Honey, honey, yeah. People say that you hide from what you say, but say nothing about what you hear. And I can't hide being confused, if it's true, please tell me dear. Do you plan to let me go, for the other guy you loved before? Don't you know that I Heard It Through the Grapevine? Not much longer will you be mine. It's because I Heard It Through the Grapevine and I'm just about to lose my mind. Honey, honey, yeah. Oh baby I know, that you're letting me go." / I chose this song because Gwen's refusal to love Cody and not Trent is really kind of emotionally cutting for someone like Cody. He tries really hard to earn her love, and yet it's never enough for her. So Cody wishes that Gwen would've just told him sooner, so that he wouldn't have spent as much time on such a fruitless pursuit."

Beth: "Stay" by Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories. / "You say I only hear what I want to. You say I talk so all the time so. And I thought what I felt was simple, and I thought that I don't belong. And now that I hear you're leaving, now I know that I did something wrong because I miss you. Yeah, I miss you. You say, I only hear what I want to. I don't listen hard. I don't pay attention to the distance that you're running to anyone, anywhere. I don't understand if you really care, I'm only hearing negative, no, no, no. And I'd thought I'd live forever and now I'm not so sure, you tried to tell me that I'm clever, but that won't take me anyhow, or anywhere with you. You said that I was naive and I thought that I was strong. I thought: 'Hey, I can leave, I can leave.' But now I know that I was wrong because I miss you. Yeah, I missed you. You said you'd call because you love me, but one day you let me go. You trying to keep away keeper, or keep me because you know you're just so scared to lose? And you say, Stay. You say I only hear what I want to." / I chose this song because I think that Beth thought that she really didn't fit in on "Total Drama Island." And when Beth realizes the Wooden Tiki Idol she got was cursed, it probably made her think of Cody, and the fact that he got voted off because she did something wrong, and she missed him. She was also talking to Heather because in Beth's mind, Heather thought that Beth wasn't paying attention to the Alliance rules. Beth had always thought that Heather didn't really care, even with her false compliments or her attempts to belittle Beth. Then of course, Beth finds out she's not so strong, and the only reason Heather kept her was because she was scared to lose! That's why I picked that song for her!

That's all the campers for tonight, I'll post more songs about the campers later. Enough said!

Gwen's worldview seems similar to A Day in The Life - The Beatles. "I read the news today, oh boy. About a lucky man who made the grade. And though the news was rather sad. Well, I just had to laugh. He blew his mind out in a car. He didn't notice that the lights had changed. A crowd of people stood and stared. They'd seen his face before, nobody was really sure if he was from the House of Lords."

I've got another song! This one is about Courtney and Duncan! "Opposites Attract" by Paula Abdul.

"Baby it seems we never, ever agree. You like the movies and I like T.V. I take things serious and you make a mess. I take it easy (Baby I get obsessed!) I like it quiet (and I like to shout!) But when we together it just all works cause I take two steps forward (I take two steps back.) We come together cause Opposites Attract and you know, it ain't fiction, just a natural fact, we come together cause Opposites Attract. Who would've thought we could be lovers? I make the bed, and he steals the covers. (She's got the money) and he's always broke. I don't like cigarettes, (Baby, I like to smoke.) With things in common, there just ain't one. But when we get together we have nothing but fun! Cause I take two steps forward (I take two steps back.) We come together cause Opposites Attract and you know, it ain't fiction, just a natural fact, we come together cause Opposites Attract. You know it baby. Baby, nothing in common, but there's trust! (I'm like a minus and she's like a plus. She's going up, and I'm going down, but we always seem to land on common ground. When things go wrong we make corrections, get things moving in the right directions. I tried to fight it, but it's useless, jack. I'm telling you that Opposites Attract.) Who would've thought that we would've lasted this long? You and me proving everyone wrong. I don't think we'll ever get our differences patch. It doesn't matter because we're perfectly matched and I take two steps forward (I take two steps back.) We come together cause Opposites Attract and you know, it ain't fiction just a natural fact, we come together cause Opposites Attract. Two steps forward, two steps back, Opposites Attract!" I chose this song because Courtney is to Duncan what the mongoose is to the snake, what Luke Skywalker is to Darth Vader, what Harry Potter is to Voldemort. Two opposite sides of the same coin, they can't exist with each other, but they can't live without the other one. That's why I chose this song! Enough said!

My next song is based on Harold, and his recent action against Duncan. / "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Alice Cooper. / "I used to be such a sweet, sweet thing until they got a hold of me. I opened doors for little old ladies, I helped the blind to see. I've got no friends because they read the papers. They can't be seen with me. And I'm getting really shot down I'm getting mean. No More Mr. Nice Guy! No more Mr. Glee-hee-hee-hee. No More Mr. Nice Guy, they say: He's sick, he's a fiend. I've got no friends because they read the papers, and they can't be seen with me! And now I'm getting real shot down and I'm turning mean! No More Mr. Nice Guy! No More Mr. Glee-hee-hee-hee. No More Mr. Nice Guy, they say: He's sick, he's a fiend. A dog bit me on the leg today, a cat clawed my eyes, my mom's been thrown out of social circles, and dad has to hide. I went to church incognito where everybody rose. The preacher saw me and recognized me, I punched him in the nose! I said: No More Mr. Nice Guy! No More Mr. Glee-hee-hee-hee. No More Mr. Nice Guy, I say I'm sick, I'm a fiend. No More Mr. Nice Guy! No More Mr. Glee-hee-hee-hee. No More Mr. Nice Guy, he said: You're sick, you're a fiend! Hee-hee-hee-hee, hee-hee-hee-hee, WHOO!" /

I chose this song because all Harold ever wanted to do was be nice to his fellow team-mates and help out whenever they needed him to help out. And instead, Duncan, Geoff, and D.J. treated him like garbage and tortured him for no real good reason, turning him into a villain. Enough said!

Duncan: Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana

DJ: One Heart (Let's Get Together and Feel Alright) - Bob Marley (because he's Jamaican-Canadian)

Bridgette: Blue Rondo a la Turk - Dave Brubeck.

Courtney+Duncan-Push Me Away by the Jonas Brothers. The song is kind of like a girl knowing she likes him, but she doesn't want to. I know it's a little strech but I think it could work.
BB Good could work too for them, because the song is about a dude telling a girl that they could work, and there's this line"I don't wanna hurt you/I wanna kiss you" that really sold it to me.
