Ok, we saw tha CN let them show Heather blurred topless, and let Harold and Bridgette say "boobies," but what I noticed is when Geoff said LeShawna said chest, you can tell by the lip movement and on the episode quotes that they both said boobies.

To me it seems just weird how CN does things like that. Like if someone said crap, then they changed it to shoot later for another character. Does CN have a limit or something on such words?

This is why no one likes unnecessary censorship. You know who I blame this on? Overreacting parents who should know better and let their kids see the real world instead of sealing them off from the world.

Agreed. Kids and teens these days are drinking, smoking, doing illegal drugs, and "things," and their parents might even know! Yet it's a huge thing when a cartoon character says boobies.

What I found odd about the censorship was not that "boobies" was changed to "chest." What I found odd was that Harold and Heather said "boobies" or "boobs", but Geoff and Leshawna's were changed. Also, Trent said "hell" earlier in the episode.

If you want to censor an episode to meet standards, fine. But don't do it partway.

Maybe they have a strict limit on certain words. Only a few times can something like that be said, who knows, they may have edited them to give Geoff and LeShawna better reputations...it's CN, they're weird.

Mandy in Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy calls Billy and Grim boobs too.

Also, didnt they edited out a word in the first episode Not so happy Camppers part 1? It was before they ended the episode, the teens were atr the cliff, and I saw on my T.V, the captions, and on the captions, was a bleep, and I didnt hear anything, all I heard was an eagle cry, well see the episode again, for that scene, anyway, I want to know who said the bad word, and what bad word was it originally?

SOMETIMES wish, if McCain wins, you better be sure to get out and not be in the fallout plane. The whole censorship in the land of the free and the home of the brave is just one of many reasons that have compelled me to look for colleges in Canada.

When I was watching it yesterday and I heard that, I was like "Oh my gosh, the company let him say that". Then again, they're talking about the place where the Devil resides. If Trent said something like "Hell no", they would censor that.

Adding to my larger point, our fear of anything that seems slightly like what the Soviets would've done is wrong. WE CAN'T GUARANTEE HEALTHCARE! THAT'LL MAKE (dun dun dunnnhhh) SOCIAL DEMOCRACY!!! And the people who say that are the so-called compassionate conservatives. We already have public schools, should opportunity to make capital only be in the hands of the rich, or are we already making gulags and really hurting the worker more than helping? NO! Some socialism is OK, Canada seems to have balanced it out. They have guaranteed maternal leave, health care and childcare, and they maintain freedom of the individual over money. THAT'S why I feel, that unless the U.S. changes its ways, I'm going to have to move to Canada.

from last nights episode of TDI, i was kind of messed with what CN cencored as well. I mean "Boobies" isn't a bad word at all. Why did to take off some of the word in the episode?

And when CN cencored the word, some parts of the episode didn't make sense at all. When Harold crashed into the rock, Harold says "boo-yah" WTF? so he liked losing? Also he was supposed to say boobied again in the confession cam. He said boo-yah again. So he loves to lose. That was not a good idea. I was pretty much confused about that whole thing.

And when they said chest instead of "boobies," um isn't it the same thing? When u look at a girl's chest, it's their boobs. Why not put it on then?

But it did make a good episode anyway. Just hope that they don't do any major changes that can ruin an episode.

What's worse is when they censor out a word for one character, and another character says the censored word uncensored. Like when I said that Harold said "boobies" and then Geoff said "chest."

That's just like bleeping out a cuss word, then not bleeping the same word in the same show, in the same episode later.

What's even worse is that when LeShawna said " Do you know anyone else with a booty as luscious as an apple?", they made her say " Do you know anyone else with a kick butt attitude like mine?" Is booty a bad word? Seriously, CN needs help.

They don't say booty, and yet they air PG-13 movies like Ace Ventura and Jurassic Park 3.

And they edit the heck out of those movies. They edit out like 2/10th of the movie. I find it hard to belive that no kid who watched those movie on CN has not seen the original verson.

This seems to be targeted at 8-15 year olds. And it's TV-PG.

If anyone here knows a 9 year old boy who hasn't laughed or chuckled when someone said boobies I'd love to hear about it. When you're nine, things that are just childish seem hilarious, e.g. boobies. It's not dirty, but when you're nine its risque.

It may be TV-PG but they still edit out things that they don't need to. We've seen TV-PG shows that cuss with the minor words, and yet this one doesn't cuss, but they still edit out/change many of the slang words.

Heck, I've seen PG movies that've said the "S" words a couple times. And not the ones that were made before the PG-13 rating was made.

Actully, I'm am kind of happy they censord this one, my dad was watching tdi with me and my two sibs. When heather's shirt ripped off, he turned bright red, and had a very confussed look on his face, the same thing happend when they said boobies. At the end of the show he said "thank god thats over." XD.

ya I really wished they would have changed all the times the said boobies, it would have made watching it, less stresfull XD.
