Anyone have any signs that would be apparent that the show is from Canada because the credits say "Canadian Heritage" thus filling the requirement for Canadian programming on Teletoon.

The only one I can think of is that Owen burped the alphabet and ended with zed instead of zee.

    Any others?

At least twice they outright say they're in Canada- 1) In Camp Castaways when chef asks about the palm trees and says that they're in northern Ontario or something like that, and 2) In Camp Haut-ture, when Courtney gets hit by a coconut and says that they're in Canada.

I know I love that one, I saw it 2 days ago lmao my absolute favourite part is when Noah's like 'excellent' lmfao it just made me laugh so hard! anyway, back on topic- the biggest sign for me is the fact that they're openly saying crap, frikkin, damn, and hell (ok, so only once for damn and hell, but even so) and in America, the show is like, censoring out the word 'sucks' sad.... just....sad.... it's so much more fun to watch it here, when instead of Chris saying 'and a real fine hat' he says "and a 'dam' fine hat"

Wawanakwa sounds Canadian? There are a LOT of camps in the northeast US that have those names. Look at names of towns in Illinois or Oklahoma, THAT'S Native American way more than Brampton, London, Hamilton, Thunder Bay, Montreal, Calgary, Regina etc....

I have heard similar names in Oklahoma, Arizona, Mississippi (Think names of counties there like Coahoma, Issaquena, Itawamba, Yalobusha, etc.) and Alabama. It's a Native American sounding name, not a Canadian one. If it were named Gordon, MacKenzie, Dion, Hamilton, Laurier, Harper, Trudeau or something like that, it would sound stereotypically Canadian.

Really, there would be an island named after a prime minister who isn't that spectacular and was inaugurated 2 years ago. I could see Trudeau or Laurier and maybe Douglas but not Dion or Harper. They could make it sound German by using Diefenbaker LOL. Yeah in Oklahoma there are places like Chickasha (shay), Ponca City, Okmulgee. Illinois has Ottawa (I'm not making this up it's off I-80 near I-39, Kankakee. So yeah, that's not so blatantly obviously Canadian.

Actually it is Royal MOUNTED Canadian Police. They are the Federal Police Force of Canada--akin to the Texas Rangers in the state of Texas, their jurisdisction supercedes that of any Local Police force, County Sheriff's department, Provincial Police and what not. They're also part of the reason why the Canadian westward expansion had nowhere near the bandit troubles that were experienced in the US--they're like a frigging ARMY, man!

I doubt that the RCMP just checks the borders and hands out traffic tickets in rural areas. That's all the TX Rangers (not the baseball team) do. They may have at one point been as important but not now, the 254 county sherriffs do all the work.

Excuse me, buddy. The Texas Rangers have jurisidiction over the whole state of Texas. The guys giving out the traffic tickets are the HIGHWAY PATROL. The Texas Rangers are like our own FBI in our state and are much akin to the RCMP--Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I live in Texas, and I can tell you that if a Ranger gets sent in to intervene in a local law enforcement case--be it a City like Houston, where I live, or some county or what not, the Ranger is automatically in charge per state law and in most cases, the ranger is sent in because the local law enforcement has FOULED IT UP and can't be trusted.
